The place needs to get rid of the guys on top (directors) making the same old decisions. To succeed, you need to innovate and all the place keeps coming up with is next generation of the same old same old. The next step is to get rid of non-value added managerial positions. Never have I worked at a place where there are so many managers of no-one and managers of bogus titles.
 






Agree on the innovation side. I left ,ore than 10 years ago thinking this is the third or fourth time around on some of these products, and guess what? They are still redoing those same products, all I missed was another iteration and a name change. I could go back now and pick up pretty much where I left off. It is a shame, but the tunnel vision has been taking the same path over and over.
 












The tunnel vision still has them thinking about commodity products, they need to get out of the box and work on the next surgical innovations, like what is the next breakout opportunity like endo surgery was in the day. All attempts at that have wound up with a bunch of people sitting in a conference room in silence. Can't wait for the powered Cricket.
