Supreme Court Won't Review Sales Rep Overtime

Ok professor, the only reason reps are at the pay level currently enjoyed is due to the obscene profit margins of Pharma - which are withering. They were never worth their pay. For what they do it's insane. CEOs are finally catching on. Ask yourself, how much Plavix sales was due to reps? Maybe 5%. Face the truth.

OK, grasshopper, try and get the jealousy out of your head and learn something. "Obscene" profit margins? Just how much profit do you want a company to make? Are you the one who sets that limit? You just don't get it - our economy works because it rewards companies that are willing to take risks. What company is going to grossly overpay their employees, unless they are forced to by government or unions? Reps were worth their pay - that's why companies paid them.

The best products in the world would not sell if they weren't promoted. Plavix would be nowhere near the drug it is today if it wasn't promoted. Fleming discovered penicillin and published the efficacy studies in 1929 but it wasn't even used at all until the 1940's when Florey and Chain bought the rights to it, developed a powder form and marketed it. BMS took a chance with metformin when nobody else would and marketed it in the US. Until then there had been zero use because of fears of lactic acidosis. They took the risk and got the rewards - that's the way it works. Advertising and personal selling works - that's why companies do it. Sorry you are bitter that people make money on that fact.

You are a fucking idiot. "Plavix would be nowhere near the drug it is today if it wasn't
promoted"?

Over 75% of Plavix rxs are for off label use in elective PCI. I am amazed at your fucking stupidity. With people like you in this industry, no wonder the main reason doctors see reps is for free samples. Oh, but NOT YOU, you bring important life saving information!

How delusional are you? What a pathetic joke.
