Supreme Court SMACKS DOWN DONNIE THE LOSER

Circular firing squad like this and the decision by most conservative “republicans” not to get vaccinated should help carry out “Darwinism”

Bingo ! And as things begin the slow process of shedding the annoying Trump exoskeleton, today Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell acknowledged that President-elect Joe Biden won the presidential election, breaking with President Trump and other Republicans who still haven't conceded the contest.

During a speech this morning on the Senate floor, the Kentucky Republican said the “Electoral College has spoken,” congratulating Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris as the nation’s first female vice president.

“Six weeks ago, Americans voted in this year’s general election,” McConnell said. “The legal and constitutional processes have continued to play out since then. Yesterday electors met in all 50 states. So as of this morning our country officially has a president-elect and a vice-president elect.”

McConnell is the most prominent Republican leader in Congress to acknowledge Biden’s win. His remarks come after the 538 members of the Electoral College cast their ballots on Monday, confirming Biden’s victory.

Trump has yet to concede the Nov. 3 election. And as recently as Tuesday morning he was tweeting about his latest in a series of discredited allegations about ballot fraud, this time concerning voting machines in Michigan. As another prominent Republican said, "America does not like poor losers and Donald Trump has become a poor loser."

The GOP is now fractured beyond a short term fix. ;)

Within the fractured GOP, the election fight is pitting conservatives against fellow conservatives while creating an enormous headache for party leaders who are pinched between adhering to the electoral verdict and loyalty to a president who has refused to accept defeat.

Those forces are set to collide on Jan. 6, when Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) a five-term Freedom Caucus firebrand, vows to launch an improbable effort to force votes in both chambers designed to block President-elect Joe Biden from assuming the White House. Electors from all 50 states cast their ballots Monday, formally granting Biden more than the 270 Electoral College votes he needs to become the 46th president.

So far, Brooks's gambit has received no backing from senior GOP leaders. And House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) seemed to tip his hand in opposition to Brooks's tactics Monday, telling the Fox Business Network that taking election challenges to Congress is "the wrong method."

The GOP has fractured itsself - thanks Donnie.

By the way, where's those Muenster boys?
:D:D:D
Trump didn’t cause the fracture. He merely exposed it. That’s a good thing!
You’ve not seen the last of Trump, conservatives or the GOP!

He enlarged it. It is now wide open and some of them will start a new party while some will go to the Dems. He is desperate to stay in the public eye because that's how a panhandler makes his money - sympathy. And the Dems will now have even more votes.
