Suck my Duck

Ah bullshit. If strength of schedule were that important in BCS rankings Alabama was not be ranked #2.

You know as well as I do that Florida came within millimeters of getting beat by both Mizzou and LA-Layfayette - 2 pathetic teams.

Did Florida win those games? Huh?

Hey, what's 3+2?

5! Hahahahahahaha!

Computers are supposed to calculate margins of victories and the strengths of the opponents played in those games, ding dong.

Oregon has averaged 50 points a game for 11 games. How many points has Florida averaged? 25? Against Mizzou all they could put on the board were 14.

I hope Florida gets their ass booted by FSU this weekend to prove what a shitty team they really are.

And naturally, you will be nowhere to be found. :D

You don't know how to play nice with others, do you? Here I give you a bone saying that UF shouldn't be ranked over Oregon and you turn around and shit all over my team. You also have a habit of ignoring 90% of my posts....no comments on why i think UF went over Oregon, and nothing on my UF/FSU prediction. You seem to be only here to defend or tout your west coast Flavor of the Year....oh, and to whine about the superiority of the SEC.

And btw, a W is still a W -- something the Ducks didn't get over Stanford.

I guess you didn't notice that I thanked you for your honesty, re: your opinion on the Gators surpassing the Ducks. And since I know you are (were) a big Gator fan you went up a few notches on my respect meter.

I have no idea how big a Seminole fan you are (were). So saying that FSU will trounce UF didn't have any impact on my respect meter. But a 3rd grader who follows the Gators should be able to figure out that no way in hell do they deserve to be #4 in the BCS standings.

Computers aren't supposed to analyze a W as a W. Computers are supposed to analyze the DETAILS of the game so that no two W's are the same. That was supposed to be the magic of the BCS system that has turned out to be the BS system instead! Florida has had very few quality wins. LA-Layfayette and Mizzou are proof of that!

Now things are starting to get really interesting! I was not surprised to see BAMA jump Oregon but Florida jumping Oregon was really amusing. If Stanford loses to UCLA this weekend and Oregon can get back into the PAC-12 Championship Game then it does not really matter anyway. Oregon would jump Florida with a win over UCLA in the PAC-12 Championship Game.

Remember Florida beat not only Texas A&M but a Texas A&M with the Heisman front runner Johnny Mainzel. Johhny has thrown for over 3,000 yards and ran for over 1,000 yards. That is freaking unbelievable! Luckily Florida played them early in the season before Johnny started to peak around mid to late season.

Now if BroncoBoy would chill out and refocus his anger on Notre Dame then I would agree with him. Notre Dame is undefeated but has barely won against many scrub teams. If Notre Dame wins out and Oregon manages to get back into the PAC-12 Championship game, would you be more aggravated that a 11-0 Notre Dame will play in the NC instead of a 12-1 Oregon? Oregon got exposed because they finally played some tough and worthy opponents. Stanford, Oregon State and (potentially UCLA/originally USC) is a tough run.

The two other quality teams Oregon beat before playing Stanford was Arizona (7-4), Arizona's best win was over Oklahoma State & USC (Not bad). Arizona State (6-5) Arizona State's best win this season was over Illinois or maybe Utah.

Florida is (10-1). Their most impressive wins are over Texas A&M and LSU!! Hell if anything they should be ranked higher than BAMA since they beat Texas A&M?

The BCS recognizes that the SEC is the toughest conference with the best players in the country in College Football. If the SEC is not then why do the majority of NFL players come from the South East?

Screw Texas A&M. The only quality team that Johnny Football and A&M beat was Alabama. Their other victories were over complete f..ing dogs. Go look at their schedule. So what if Johnny Football is a Heisman candidate? That don't mean squat. Football is a team sport.

Okay, I promise to cut the rants on U of Florida. All I will say is watch the FSU vs. U of Florida game this weekend. THAT GAME WILL SPEAK VOLUMES. My claim that Florida ain't shit will be crystal clear as the buzzer sounds at the end of the 4th quarter.

I hope for the following:

1) USC beats ND [Very good possibility of this. Backup QB Wittek is a solid QB. He came cold off the bench when Barkley got injured and in 40 secs. went 3-3 for 40 yards. That's pretty impressive for a freshman. Look for good things from this kid. I think he beats ND.]

2) UCLA beats Stanford [If UCLA plays the same game against Stanford as they did against USC I think UCLA wins. But UCLA is inconsistent. One week UCLA is a ball of fire. The next week they're a wad of buttwipe. That's the problem.

3) Oregon beats Oregon State [I think this is a given. Oregon will not lose 2 in a row.]

4) Finally, Oregon beats UCLA in the conference championship. [That would be one great game. I hope it happens.]

If those 4 things happen Oregon should be one of the NC teams for sure. If they aren't Chip Kelly and U of Oregon should take legal action against the BCS.

You just showed your true colors. I am an alumna of UF first of all, not just a fan. Secondly you didn't even READ my post that said it will be a good, close game. I am not predicting a UF win, but feel it's possible and could happen. So you ended your incorrect paragraph once again criticizing the BCS. I didn't make my post to gain any sort of "respect" from you, its been obvious all season that you don't respect anyone's opinions unless they completely agree with your own.

Which is your only agenda. So I will cease trying to have any meaningful discussion of NCAA football with you, because you are only here for your own agenda, and forget everything else.

As an FSU grad, I have to say the Gators will win and win big this weekend. FSU has a great record this year, but if you have watched any of their games, you know they are not as good as their record. Only game they have had that makes me think they have a chance is how they played Clemson, if that FSU team shows up, it will be a game, but I think the edge still goes to the gators. Jimbo and Will can discuss the outcome at their beach house next summer.

Obviously, you are unable to accept a compliment. Go back and read my post. I thanked you for your honesty for claiming FSU will beat UF knowing that you were an UF fan. So pull your head out. You only see what you want to see. You exaggerate the negative and discount the positive whenever you address people or things that you don't like. How the F was I supposed to know that you're a UF grad? Is you resume' posted somewhere on-line that I'm supposed to know about?

I respect everyone's opinion as long as they don't attack others for theirs. Once they draw first blood it's open season. I will challenge opinions with which I disagree. Tink and I have different opinions about some matters pertaining to NCAA football. But I would never engage in hostile dialog with her because Tink always shows respect to everyone. She has never uttered a nasty word. But I would tell Tink in a nice way why I disagree with her. That is what opinion boards are for. You and Pale got nasty with me right out of the gate when the season started. You know that. So don't try to pin the blame on me. The other board members know how nasty you've been with me from the start. So don't try to act like Snow White now. We see right through your crap.

Of course I'm here to voice my beliefs. Isn't everyone? All of you have agendas. Every single one of you. I'm entitled to mine as well.

Grow up. If you are a college grad you aren't acting like it.

Poor little F'tard draws blood and you go after her? Heh heh. Yep, women are like grizzly bears destroying everything in sight. They are so vicious. Lordy that girl probably can't even eat a little squirrel.

You know if it wasn't for the crazy ramblings of a BCS conspiracy you could probably be a good ol' boy.

The world ain't fair hoss. The fair comes to town once a year.

Thought you were around for previous discussions of our alma maters, so you're a newbie? Maybe that explains everything.

I didn't draw blood first. And I did not state that FSU would win. I said it would be a close and good game. UF might kick their asses!

You don't pay much attention to details, do you? It's all becoming clear to me now.

Oregon would definitely be in the NC if these 4 things happen. Really only 2 major things need to happen for Oregon:

1. USC beats Notre Dame

2. UCLA Beats Stanford

(I think Oregon will beat Oregon State)

Bama - you left out the most important requirement. Oregon needs to win the Pac 12 championship. But you are correct. (1) and (2) need to happen. In a fair world USC shouldn't even have to beat ND. If ND remains ranked #1 there is no reason to say that Oregon should not be ranked #2 IF Oregon wins the Pac 12 championship. But you are right. ND getting knocked off by USC would ice it.

I would love to watch Oregon play Alabama. Man oh man. Would I be lovin' that!!!!!

Oregon will lose to Oregon State.

Oregon will lose to Oregon State.

Is that you BroncoFraud? I was on the fence on whether to pick Oregon or O-State. If you call the win for O-State that convinces me that Oregon wins big. You're a great contrarian sounding board. Please continue to feed us your predictions even though you eliminated yourself from the competition.

Now what would be really interesting is if ND wins, Stanford loses and Oregon wins the PAC-12 Championship Game. If that happens I really do not think Oregon would jump the SEC Champion.

The SEC Championship will be #2 Vs. #3. If Oregon plays in the PAC-12 Championship and wins they would be playing a 2 Loss UCLA. That really does not help them. USC has to beat ND for Oregon to have a shot at being in the NC.

I agree with you that Alabama Vs. Oregon would be the more interesting NC Game. ND and Alabama have not played in a couple or three decades and the historic significance would be nice. Oregon Vs. Bama would have more action though...

Broncofraud reporting for duty. That was not me. I think OREGON wins and wins big.
There are some hard games to pick this week, I will be like OJ and tell you if I was picking this week, I would pick:

1. TEXAS this game is a gimmie

2. IOWA

3. ARKANSAS

4. WASHINGTON STATE

5. WEST VIRGINIA one day I will learn not to like west Virginia, today is not that day.

6. ARIZONA

7. GEORGIA TECH , the dawgs should win big, but I think Tech pulls off a huge upset

8. OHIO STATE

9. VIRGINIA TECH

10. TEXAS TECH big loss for Baylor after the huge win last week

11. OREGON another 60 point game

12. FLORIDA VS. FSU both teams are overrated this year. If you go by stats, FSU wins, but if you look at the quality of opponents, you realize comparing their stats is like comparing apples to oranges. The Gators have the best defense FSU has faced all year. The Seminoles have a great defensive line, but the secondary is suspect and will give up the big play several times a game. I don’t think the noles defense has stopped anyone on 4th down. FSU special teams not so good this year, trouble holding on to the ball when they are the receiving team, have had multiple punts blocked. Florida Gators win.

13. AUBURN VS. ALABAMA -31 Auburn really is that bad this year but Bama will not win by 31, more like 21, Pick Auburn

14. OKLAHOMA

15. STANFORD

16. MISS STATE

17. SOUTH CAROLINA VS. CLEMSON -4 Matchup of two really good game time coaches. Normally when it is SEC vs. ACC, I give the edge to the SEC team when it is a toss-up, but if I was pickin and grinnin this week my gut tells me, forget that approach, Clemson wins.

18. NOTRE DAME VS. USC Despite some of my comments on previous threads, I think USC is better than their record, having said that, I think this year’s team has some major funk issues at this point in the season. Notre Dame wins.

Wrongo it's me Broncback. O-State wins by 2.
