Stryker Gallup - how do you fail?

Hello!

I took the Gallup assessment today for an associate sales position at Stryker. I’ve been wanting to get into this company for a while. My interviews with the recruiter and hiring managers have been great thus far, however, I know if you don’t “pass” the Gallup, you don’t make it to the next round.

My question is - how can you “fail” the test if it’s a personality/strengths test? How do they determine if you’re moving on or not. I’ve actually taken strengths-finders assessments before (online) but not sure if my verbal one produces the same results so I’m a little anxious as I really want this position. The Gallup interviewer said my results will go to Stryker by EOD tomorrow and they’ll be the ones to contact me about next steps. Does anyone have any insight about their experience?

Thanks!!

If you can't talk yourself up, give specific examples of how you have shown how great you are, and how you've dominated your customers in the past and will continue to do - then you'll fail. Pass it by going into it as a cocky fuck with a huge dong/tiddies

LOL. I must have done that because it worked! I passed.

Stryker wants to hire easy to manipulate sociopaths. That’s why they weigh a meaningless test like the Gallup so heavily. The entire tedious interview process is a master class in how to interview candidates in the 1990’s. At this point the company is too big to fail regardless of who they hire. Kudo’s to their Marketing teams.

It’s kind of ironic that a company that preaches Diversity, Equality, & Inclusion uses a profiling system in their hiring process.
Just look at the diversity within the sales and marketing teams when pictures are posted on LinkedIn - mostly white males and females that have body measurements that mirror Barbie and Ken dolls.

You'll hear back whenever the next cog in line has time to talk to you. The process is extremely slow and anti-productive as if they will be getting a quality person in sales. really can't believe they're still DQing people based on this

Styrker prides itself for being slow - the entire organization is full of silos, with reporting structures that are fragmentted across the globe.
