This is my first pharma launch and I do not see any excitement by my HCP’s. The few encounters I have had are about “ how we are different than Strattera?” I am very nervous and can’t seem to schedule meetings even letting my HCP know it’s a new molecule. Covid may be part of the issue but not sure we have a blockbuster like my RD told me. After speaking to a few team members the consensus is we have a better chance of a Re launch than a blockbuster. I thought it would be much different.
Not what I’m seeing at all. So either you’re a troll trying to spread negativity or you’re bad at your job. Go into your offices with a little more enthusiasm than a wet rag and you’ll see excitement because it’s definitely out there. There’s always going to be doctors that hate reps and don’t care about new meds but there are plenty out there that are booking appointments and are eager to hear from us. You won’t win with everyone so focus on what you can do.
Or go troll somewhere else.
This is a classic Supernus management response. If you ever mention that doc didn’t react the exact way they want it’s your fault. I understand it’s my job to sell the product and I’m good at it but there will be times when things are not going well. This is where we FAIL as a company. Instead of letting the reps speak the truth then finding a solution together management or at least my manager specifically has everyone so scared to say anything negative. If you even mention that the call didn’t go well you are immediately attacked. Really sad
