In past acquisitions it has been DGX policy not to offer employment to anyone that had been involuntarily terminated in the course of their prior employment with DGX.

Could you even tie your own shoes when Dean joined BioReference? Do you actually remember anything about the late 90s, junior? Sadly, most of the staff at Quest Diagnostics doesn’t either and the records are gone. But thankfully, there are enough of us here that still do. So if you want to give a history lesson son, you best get your facts straight. We value experience, and the knowledge and wisdom that come with it. Sounds like you fall short in that department.
you people talk like Quest employees are smart.
For 25 straight years BioReference pissed on you, took away your business, and did it as a happy family.
We will rise again, and build a mountain of sales, then, once again, we will piss on you.
Stop with your pompous bull crap, you are still the same losers at Quest that you've always been.
By the way, Dean is making a lot of money here, and, he deserves it.
Not the crap that you Questites make
Oh brother. We feel your pain, son. We aren’t without empathy. And there were even some of us quietly rooting for you not to become total failures. But facts are stubborn things and we all know the reality now. Ultimately, there are some great folks over there that will be welcomed into our organization. Dean is a given, and don’t think we aren’t all itching to have Cindy back. And perhaps it’s just time for some of the others to reevaluate their career choices. Not everyone is cut out for this industry and only the cream of the crop can make it at Quest Diagnostics. Hope this helps
Oh, right. It’s a buyout silly, look at your paystub on Friday. If it currently says Quest, enjoy you weekend. If it currently says Bioreference (money comes from OPKO since your company is losing money), then get your resume out. Also, another HUGE hint would be to drive 1hour outside of Elmwood Park and ask any physician if they prefer Quest. Labcorp, or Bioreference. I 100% will guarantee they don’t know that last lab name.If anything, and that's still a BIG QUESTION, but if anything, this would be a merger. Quest people are at EQUAL RISK during a consolidation. Don't get so cocky. Nobody's going to OWN anybody.

Oh brother. Another ArmChair CEO helping to explain the “business world” to us common folk. Well save your bad breath, skippy. We all know the score here and you are ignorant and uninformed. No one cares about you or your stupid opinions. Bio-Quest has the potential to rock the Clinical Laboratory industry to its core. And you clearly won’t be along for the ride.
A lot of innuendos and rumors floating around in my dept. Some say merger, some say buyout....WTF is going down? This sucks.

There is no buyout or merger in the works. People here like to stir the pot. Don't bother asking for specifics, they have none to give. Quest doesn't want nor does it need Bio.
