Still No Warn Letter. Do better Amgen.

The WARN notice must be in writing and that starts the 60 days. What I’m hearing is there are no longer 50 people left so there won’t be a WARN notice and our last day is 10/31. There will be severance.

If this is don’t like it has been in the past, the WARN notice is inconsequential because they would have run it simultaneously with the 16 weeks base severance. In effect you would have had 8 weeks.

I’d bet a week’s pay that the WARN period and severance will run concurrently.

It’s my understanding we are employees until December 31 then severance. We will learn more next week

Nope.. when you get notice your severance is starting. If they say you have 12 weeks and keep you through November and December, 8 weeks are gone from your severance total. The 8 weeks are included in the 12 week severance amount. Leaving 4 weeks after you are out of the field. Went through it 4 years ago with Amgen.

Standard. I haven't made a call since they told me they were screwing me in July. Now they are telling me I will go into a "paid notice" period with no Amgen materials and that they will deduct that from my severance. Just what my other district mates got.

I dont think this notice period involves the basic severance. I asked that question on the call and they did not directly answer it but referenced that severance starts in January. I was not happy they did not specifically answer my question.
