It is really simple. No layoffs everything is good. Lots of layoffs then Valeant really does not care about their employees. No layoffs yet this year. All is good.

We been through a good portion of the new year and not even the hint of new layoffs.
Next round of layoffs in April May
Management knows who's next, next layoffs are coming in April-May. Valeant has to satisfy their angry institutional and retail investors. The McKinsey cost cutting models predict more layoffs. The CEO + officers will get their bonus and will reinforce their golden parachutes of course.
Go and google for McKinsey mass layoff. There are several articles written on how they have helped the best companies cut the fat. Some names such as Enron and Circuit City will pop up
