Specialty positions

anyone posting for a specialty spot? You think they'll consider us or hire externals with buy and bill experience?
stop using term "us" when you are clearly not 'us.' Only moles with a financial incentive to shake info of us as a competitor ask this type of questions here. Move along now. Back to sifting through dumpsters for rats.

Has anyone who applied for the respiratory openings been contacted at all? I applied in late October but haven't heard anything. I have infusion, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy and sold xolair experience?????? I've heard that your HR dept is overwhelmed with the NeuroPain offers, etc. Can anyone shed any light on this for me perhaps? Just asking, thanks!

I recently applied for one of these specialty positions. I haven't heard anything yet and it's been several weeks. Anyone know what recruiters Teva is using for the initial interviews and has anyone actually had an interview at all? Thanks!

be patient. They're currently getting the new Specialty Managers in place and will then start hiring. But if you're external, I would think some priority will be given to internal candidates if any have buy and bill experience.

Look the way I see it is like this....the new therapy is not a me-too! It's a once every 4 week infusion! So what that there are sub-q's out there! The science is good and the drug looks very promising. I will gladly take this job if I am offered this job! Teva is a good and solid company with many other divisions and a robust and deep pipeline. Just sayin'

Are you sayin that it has great managed care all over the place and a cheap price? Oh, and docs will want to Rx it and its gonna be big? Oh, but if its a big flop we get a new robust pipe dweller. I would want the job just like you.

Who are the customers? Not many offices set up for IV.

I am also interviewing for an RN position for the IV drug. I am currently employed in an IV center. In metro areas the IV can be done in an IV center, hospital (at no cost to the patient) or even in a IMs office. In some circumstances it can be performed in the patient's home environment. This is a very exciting time for RNs to be involved directly with pharma companies. Just sayin' !!

Some people live by the motto: Anything sounding too good to be true...is too good to be true.
This means....usually a catch with big bucks.
Carrots dangle for a reason.

Agree, amigo?

Let's see. Wanted 50 reps, but only got 40 approved. Infusion vs two injection therapy products. Only paying 7-10% more base than regular respitory reps and many will have the whole state to cover with 2 to 3 overnights a week. This thing will launch like a lead balloon.

So huge territory. Cheap pay. Low job security. Is this the bottom line? Tell us. Resumes will soon be in flight.
