sad that’s what you actually believe there are some good and some soulless greedy people anywhere in for-profits (and generally to a smaller extent in non-profits) BUT how many are harming innocent people (not just things) in the process? Tha kinda makes a difference, bro. Pharma sales is the worst as far as moral depravity.

We all know by now that reps on average make one to two "calls" per day. (sample drops of course) Otsuka would rather keep these inefficient people employed to keep the price of our drugs high, rather than lay off reps! We could easily do away with 60-70% of reps and there would be no negative impact on sales whatsoever. Additionally, we have Lundbeck reps. No other industry can and does function this way. The country as a whole must endure a huge financial burden so that few in the Pharma industry can enjoy exorbitant pay and benefits.

So true. I’m ashamed and leaving. I’d rather make leas money and be more proud of what I do. Some people like you on here that actually get and it and aren’t in denial. Help me cope. Thank you for saying it like it really is.
