So Quiet

Are any of the negative commenters still at UHS? I hope not.... The new CEO will bring change, already brought back our PTO hours, has a good track record. I will be drinking his koolaid. I think UHS has a bright future one we get out all the kinks that have destroyed moral and tarnished our reputation.

Soooo, is anyone going to explain what 8/7 D-Day is or any recent happenings at UHS or is the "Dave" bullshit just going to continue? Who cares about this guy, we want to know about the shenanigans at Corporate!

I find the comment that a selloff is likely pretty interesting since I literally just saw the ceo's video talking about growing the company not selling parts.

Do you know something? seems unlikely that he would say one thing and do another at the same time.

You should put your facts here and quit making s*** up if you don't have any.

All we ever hear from corporate management is lies and fluff. This company treats people horribly. Karma will come back and bite them all

I got screwed out of a pretty nice bonus because someone elsewhere didn't do their job and when I asked for an explanation none was given, not even a follow up...

UHS is owned by private equity. The bonds that financed the purchase of the company are coming due in the next year or two. The current levels of revenue and profit are not going to fetch the price that provides the return on investment that is typically expected in the private equity world. So, is management committed to growing UHS, Yes. Is the company for sale? Yes, that was the plan when they purchased UHS.
The task now is to improve financial performance and spin up a viable story about the bright future, the markets to be concord and the huge profits just around the corner, and get the company sold.

conquered?

Ok, ok. You guys got me. This IS Dave. I just can't help myself. I'm very lonely.
So here's the deal on 8/7. Every employee was issued a 10 digit number - the raffle to be the new CFO is THIS FRIDAY !! Keep your numbers handy people, because you know we don't track squat. YOU could be the next leader (or scapegoat) to help transform our great company back into the leader of renting rusty old broken equipment to help save lives!!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
Hey, this IS the real "Dave" coming straight from my Labor Day BBQ on the beach. This poster was trying to be me. His response was quite humorous and did cause a chuckle or two. Nice try, but I don't understand why you would try to impersonate me.

Extremely well thought out answer. This is most likely the closest to the truth we have seen. The upper management folks are like used car salesmen- they will say anything to sell this company so that they can receive the largest payout possible. Would mean more money for them with zero regard for the loyal UHS employee who is on the road taking care of the customers who are left. It is a shame that it has come to this. I am glad I "got out" when I did so that I can enjoy life instead of wondering if I was going to get "screwed out" of my commission or bonus.
