I am supposed to interview with this company tomorrow. Sounds like a great opportunity, but all of these posts make me nervous...do you really need to get a signature from everybody regardless of whether you leave samples? Is it true that the DM's are as terrible as you make them sound?

Yes, we have to get signatures from each office we visit...that shouldn't be a problem if you actually work...if it is a problem, you should probably seek employment elsewhere.

Never mind, actually selling somthing worth value. Signatures don't move market share, you dumbass! The reps here are forced to check the box and you know it.

What part of the country are you interview in? Be very careful about committing to PAR/Strativa, expecially if you are talking the Phila area. Read the posts about this manager before signing on. They are not CafePharma BS, but the truth. Your life will be miserable working for her. And be wary of the fact that the majority of reps hired are left go near the end of the probation period so that PAR does not have to pay severence. Good business sense? No. Common practice? Yep.

Of course, every company has its issues. Bottom line is that when your in sales its all about performance. My belief is if your working doing all the right things then there is no need to worry about the negative.

too many reps in branded

we have to get mgt to make cuts reduce pay get strativa profitable

cuts are needed to get our division profitable

product delays are no longer tolerable

sell oravig now

I skipped mine. I had a friend who worked for them in the intial expansion she left. Her feedback to me was DON'T DO IT! 1st call SIGNATURE by 8am...must get signature on EVERY call even if samples ARE NOT left, LAST CALL at 4:30-5pm...with signature. Micromangement, $300 vitamins?!?! please. I called and said I had a family emergency....no thanks!

First call at 8 am?
4:30 last call?
signature for every call?

Are you kidding me - people are complaining about this?

It drives me nuts to think how reps take advantage of the system...the job is SO easy compared to home health, med sales, dmr sales, ortho sales, etc.

I understand if the manager is a jerk and can make your life miserable, but come on!!! pharma sales is a cake job that pays extremely well.

You wonder why other companies refuse to hire pharma reps.

let's tip off PL on the abuses at strativa

it is obvious why strativa continues to bleed red ink

too many reps overpaid and underperforming and poor mgt controls
