The whole workforce is changing. Bringing in new reps won't change the fact that employees aren't interested in traveling any more. Live meetings aren't needed at all, but employers feel like it's necessary. It's not motivating and hasn't been for years anyway. It's more of an inconvenience. Look at other company threads and you'll see this is consistent across the industry. Its clear that there isn't value of flying/live meetings in the digital age. Look outside of our industry and note the greatest transformations being made in the workplace: changing priorities, more remote work, less travel, less stress, and more. Listen to your employees and adapt. Or be cut throat and make your employees fear you, despise you, and ultimately quit anyway.
