Same great protection, new lower price. Novartis has apologized enough, coming back with an aggressive price is smart. Now if you could just keep Foster and Smith's grubby hands off it...

Who does the math? Where does the "Offer Savings" number come from? What number is 25% off another number? No wonder there are problems at Novartis!

There may an opportunity to recognize, but someone is not Smart!

You are definitely NOT Smart. The 25% is off the new list price. The math is correct. I hope I compete against you. Brilliant! Old price $45.45, new price as of now - $20, with 25% discount - $15.
I will have my 3rd grader help you if this is too complex.

I love how Novartis is acting like the "additional 25%" is a discount, wake up! It's a simple kick-back to the Vet, and your crazy if you think the vet is going to pass that along as additional discount. The Vet would be stupid to pass it along if they truly intend on carrying the product, bc it's short term (1st 20 crtn only), they would have to go back up as soon as they had to re-purchase.

What it truly will prove to be us exactly what Novartis wants, A DIVERTERS DREAM! Pet meds will now be getting it for 90cents on the Dollar and vet will keep the rebate, then as usual Pet Meds will be once again a better/cheaper option for the customer to get it.

Vets will still make the same "Net income" on HW preventative....they are just starting out at a lower price. Coupled with Parstar Plus, they can blow away online and OTC. This drives prices down and Novartis is the only one losing out on revenue. The market is going to have to react. Elanco is screwed. Giving away Apple TV's for a 10 carton order is a joke - especially after raising prices and putting hospitals on allocation.

Explain to me how a clinic us going to make same net income if they operate on a percentage based mark up? Last time I checked 50% of 50 was more than 50% if 10. Also, take a look at Parashits market share....most clinics don't even carry it, his do explain pairing it up to them?

You forgot the part about how NOBODY GIVES A RAT'S ARSE about Parastar Plus. Seriously, you guys really don't get it, do ya?

Very simple - don't sell this as a percentage based mark up. Sell it as a $ based mark up. We will help them, trust me. Doctors have been waiting for this opportunity!!!

This offer will definitely get Vets to restock this product. It is going to be easy peazy to get back into the clinics we lost. Clients will love the pricing. Right now we are all just grabbing market share that is already there. until there is growth in the market Novartis will be the latest manufacturer to take a chunk from competitors. The price wars have begun. It is going to be a great few years for the consumer

Well look at this, we finally have relevance again. Obviously competitors do care and we caught the attention of Vets too cause look at all the hub bub on this board this week. Pretty sure Sentinel will be selling like hotcakes the next quarter. By the end of the year Trfexis, Revolution and Heartgard #'s are going to reflect this bold move. Even if it is a strategy to get back share we once had it will work. Don't think for one minute that other manufacturers are not concerned with this move!

Will never happen with FDA products. That's why everyone is rushing to make FDA products and all the vets are jumpimg on the Trifexis, Sentinel, Comfortis, Recolution, Multi train.
