Well that is the reaction I would expect. What was the actual "point" of your original post? The company did this, the company did that, I'm a punching bag, I want an apology, Wah wah. It is a simple question but tricky. Are you effective? If you answer yes. Then tell us why. And don't provide some lame answer like "i'm losing less than others or "I'm maintaining my business despite the shitty price increase". If the answer is no, then what are you going to do? continue excuses because gosh all my Nurses, CRNA's etc love OFMV and love me but....I may be a dick. Who knows, who cares but you are pathetic.
 






too funny. are you effective? what a nut. either this person just read a book on sales and sales management or was referring to the Tom Cruise movie Oblivion. That is the movie where his boss constantly asks and or complements the two main characters on being an effective team.
The movie takes a turn when Tom Cruise realizes that he and his teammate are effective but in a brutal way. It turns out they are not even human but aliens sent to earth dressed as humans to steal all the resources and kill any humans who oppose them.

No, what you don't seem to understand is that we all think you are a dick AND you are pathetic.
 






Please remember that the ones let go were not new hires. A lot of them had 5, 10, 13 years in with Mallinkrodt selling their old, shitty drugs. And plenty of other tenured reps let go earlier on. They devastated an entire team of established reps because they had us selling a polished turd called Xartemis XR. Poor management of a division of a company that made them lots of money and made the branded division what is used to be.

Most of us haven't forgotten. This company doesn't care about the individual and it's pretty sick.

Yes the ones let go we're new hires, I know this because I was one of them. Got paid severance for just about the same amount of time I was actually in the field. My only complaint is that I had to explain my time here on interviews, which was pretty easy. Otherwise, Mallinckrodt paid me to stay at home and enjoy my summer.

The company is full of d-bags inside and out. There's some great people who work here but a lot of dickhead, want to be's, that never really made it anywhere but I guess you get that at any company.

I come back here from time to time just to see what I'm missing out on. Getting let go was the best thing for me. I couldn't imagine staying here and dealing with all this BS on a daily basis all while trying to be productive. This place is cancer and the longer your here the worse it effects you.

I can't think of a single normal person that would keep returning to a company thread where they were let go and have absolutely no part of the organization. We know...we know... Why are you so mad at everyone? Just by reading your posts I know exactly who you are. It's nobody on here's fault that you don't like your job. Maybe your territory is doing so poorly, yes it is,because your customers don't want to deal with your poor attitude. Just quit if you don't like it here.

Why would you get mad at someone that is simply stating the facts? I'm grateful for the poster to. Considering the division is almost 60% new and no MSL team, I would say that denotes a major problem. Two more quit this week. Im not sure about this month, but there will be more dbm resignations in mid December and rep resignations at the very end of December.
 






First of all the poster stated significant resignations coming soon. Now it's mid December! Two left today? Who?? I'm sure everyone is busy with the new product! It's going to be huge! Trump huge!!
 






One need not look much further than the discussion threads on cafepharma to see why the sales function in pharmaceuticals has such a poor reputation. The discourse, amazingly, is on the level of high school kids passing notes. Incredible. Adults getting paid reasonably good money talking this way. No wonder drugs cost so much. They pay you folks tons of money to push them. And I can't even imagine many of you on this site actually having a positive effect on clinical decisions. Incredulous. Some of you really need immediate psychiatric help.
