Shut up and just work

Listen up. I'm so sick and tired of the narcacistic jerk wads who post on here about how they hate getting signatures, taking coffee, talking about products. You losers are just that...LOSERS! You can't see that this isn't traditional sales. You're selling yourself jackholes! The reps who make it through this tough time will be the reps who have the best relationships. Who know their offices. Who don't mind bringing coffee and putting a smile on your provider's faces and a little sunshine in the offices. Nobody who really understands this job worries about a 3 product detail, unless they're with their manager. Then it's no big deal if the offices love you. Give it up already. The real talent is in liking the people and being willing to bring value to offices. Do that 98% of the time. Appease your manager the other 2%. Leave early, get home at a reasonable time. Enjoy your life and show a little gratitude and a dose of humor. Stop whining about your income. If it's too low and you're so smart, shut up and find a higher paying job. Ugh....losers do what losers do. As for me, I do my job. I know all my offices. They love me and look forward to my visits. Eventually I'll move on to a better paying job, but until then I'll make the best of this. My job is to get in front of providers. Even if that means I don't tow the company line. They pay me to be smart enough to read between the lines, so I do. If doing what the many recommends gets me kicked out of offices, then I'm not gonna do it. I have no problem understanding the nuances of this job and the fact that so many others do is a sad testament to the lack of awareness in our culture.

Coffee-Boy,

You better start towing the company line and doing what we say, on every call, or you will be on a PIP soon. Now get back to work and don't leave your territory early, slacker!

I love you for this post. I can't believe I get paid to do this job. People complain about a free company car and free gas. Tell all those haters to suck it. Haters gonna hate!

that's right lion boy- now go bend over that small dorm sized air conditioner and let me see that anal hair fly in the wind

Hey op, just for the record, it's narcissistic. Based on your post, I'd think you'd be more familiar with the correct spelling.

"Listen up"? Easy Mr. know it all. If you truly understood this job you would know that the more you know the "nuances", the more frustrating it is.This is because even when abiding by every rule and having the humility to bring coffee etc in order get in front of the docs the time will come when you have a sub par quarter or two in a row, one of your slacker partners complains about you, and suddenly your butt is on the hot seat and everything you do will subjectively be seen as below standard.

Additionally, we are quite aware the we are "selling ourselves". Unfortunately, we don't all have managers who agree. Many managers do everything they can to strip us of our individuality and initiative in favor of reciting the brilliant poa message that they are convinced is the "magic bullet" for everyone.

You have a lot to learn jackhole.

But hey, you're not bitter. I love how everyone assumes the op (me) is a dude. Guess I'm just lucky, cause I do have a good manager. I love my job. Come on. Stop taking yourselves so seriously. If you're that concerned about counterpart complaints then it's time to document and learn to "play well with others".

The thing is, I have something most reps don't...perspective and gratitude. Combine those nd life isn't so hard. lack those and you're just one more narcacistic (did I spell it right this time douche bag) pain in everyone's a#$. Grow up already!

Truly. Hey, let's not try to convince these losers who disagree with us to change their attitudes. It's not hard to look good when compared to these half-witts ;)

OP, your grammar and spelling is seriously painful to read.

You're post is stupid and I'm embarrassed to say I work for the same company as you. I know just your type. Weekly success stories that make your partners want to blow their heads off. Stop annoying everyone.

@the guy calling people 'coffee boy'. There is a lot of humility that comes along with this job. Nobody likes carting around 500 calorie frappes for overweight medical assistant's. It's part of the gig and you do it just like everyone else, so get off your imaginary high horse.

Awwww, you don't like me? I'm devastated. Loser.

Hey idiot!!! The op's grammar is painful??? Let's take a look at yours.

You wrote (and I quot)e, "You're post is so stupid..." That should say, "Your post", not "you're"

You have multiple run on sentences.

You use conjunctions innapropriately.

Another quote, "Nobody likes carting around 500 calorie frappes for overweight medical assistant's..." In this case you have the word assistant's to show ownership, and in the context it's written there is no ownership. It should say, "assistants".

The ridiculous thing is, you're so asinine, it's actually amusing when one realizes you actually thought you had one up on the op. Dumbass.

MY grammar is painful??? Let's take a look at yours.

You wrote (and I quote), "You're post is so stupid..." That should say, "Your post", to show ownership. Not "you're". If we read your sentence the way you wrote it, it would mean, "You are post is so stupid." Intelligence personified. Way to begin your argument with a completely grammatically incorrect sentence. Now that's so stupid, it's funny.

Complete incompetence right there.

The ridiculous thing is, you're so asinine, it's actually amusing when one realizes you actually believed you had one up on the me. Joker. I wrote my post to express an opinion. You wrote yours chiding me for poor spelling and grammar, while using poor spelling and grammar.

You successfully proved the point I was making about the narcissistic douche bags like yourself. I applaud and thank you!
