This won't do anything for the GI BU. There are only about 3000 of these patients and the NPS sales force has a great deal of experience. The GI BU doesn't have the time to sell a product like this….Its not just something you throw in your bag along with other products. They are also calling on more than just GIs. Many call points and the product is doing extremely well.

The NPS Gattex reps are experienced, accomplished and well-paid.

Because I was here long before him. Also I created value for Shire and he has only diminished it along with morale. Furthermore I like Shire but can't stand him and his underhanded practices. Since he came onboard Shire has not grown one bit outside of price increases and market growth. But since you are probably one of his unqualified groupies he pulled in you keep sniffing his ass.
 












We should have went after Salix- got rid of all of the Salix management and reps but kept the drugs. I don't really see how NPS helps us in the near future. Pipeline stuff is hit or miss- 5 billion is a lot of $
 






We don't have any real pipeline and to grow we have to buy other companies, raise prices or cut costs. I prefer to be employed so I don't complain, but we all can read. Gattex is tiny, and as someone else said, our numbers aren't exactly due to increased share.

I have been wondering the same since they are obsessed with being more biotechy! Does Neuroscience fit into that for him? Doubt it!!!!!

it really doesn't seem so...as soon as rare diseases can pull it's own weight, NBU will be toast...however, reps may not be required that long...just to launch BED, then bye bye salesforce
