how many Takeda management types are there that have lifers? You know, the ones that are going to tell the next generation how to sell and run a pharmaceutical company because THEY were the awesome hot shots who sold Actos to the #2 position in a 2 product race? Ask them, what else did you personally sell and what makes you think you have any possible contribution to make in the current selling environment? All you’ve done is cling to your little networks and fifedoms and drive this once proud company into the toilet. Tell us again how you invented pharmaceuticals you talentless fucks
 






Why are we buying Shire?! After reading what their reps post, their sales force is in shambles with low-achieving reps! Just let them go bankrupt and we can pick up Shire during the fire sale.
 












Shire is not even close to being bankrupt and very profitable despite owing 19 billion for Baxalta purchase. Desperation move by your company. Our pipeline has only a few drugs on the way and Vyvanse goes generic in 2024. Your stock and credit rating will drop to junk status.
 






So you think Takeda is spending all this money to hand these neuro meds to their reps that can't produce. That's why you have to buy another company in the first place. This deal is already dumb but why would they compound it by giving great meds to reps who can't sell.

Takeda reps have a handful of reps for the whole country with zero ADD experience or reputation or relationships and don’t even promote their own product and rather hand it off to Lundbeck to “co-promote”. Shire has a full salesforce with years of disease and expert experience. So what makes sense? Cut the guys who know what they’re doing and producing full force or cut the reps who don’t know their head from their ass in neuroscience?

What you say makes some sense I won't deny, though there are 250 reps while shire decided to hire a ped neuroscience sales force that hasn't done dick and put their reps at 500 if I'm not mistaken.
