Think this is an issue that may need to be decided by the courts since the layoffs appear to have been disguised to circumvent the Act.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys are expected to argue that this means that any remote or field employees reporting into New Jersey locations must count towards the 50 or more employees needed for a triggering event – another issue that will likely need to be resolved by the courts."

In essence may not live there but do report into New Jersey whether directly or indirectly.

If I had to guess, you are probably some selfish, lazy, turd rep who was able to make it through this lay off while some great rep on your team was let go just because they had been here less time. If you think 3 weeks per year is great (especially for newer reps) and people are whining or crying; wait till it’s your turn. Then you will be out in the job market interviewing and trying to get a job and no one will hire you because you suck. Your time is coming and you will get what you deserve. You can count on it!!

correct! People should not talk about things they do not understand. All NJ field last day is THIS Friday….NJ headquarters gets 3 months, then a severance on top of that.

Who do you think came up with the plan? Why not give yourself 3 months then severance using some loophole. Let’s see how many work buddies take off their masks at ppk. Getting rid of the newest employees saves them money. Why pay 20 weeks of pay when you can pay 2-4 weeks for each newbie? And if you got hired after December, they hired you as a decoy or sitting duck because they had this plan in action since last year. They want you to jump ship when they say it’s ok and not before they throw you overboard.
 




For anyone actually let go, anything done with regard to unvested RSUs, or RSUs vesting soon? Any acceleration there? The cash component is driven by SOP, so no one should be surprised about what they are offered.
