I would think the announcement is coming soon. I am not sure what to believe. If there is any sort of buyout or restructuring, it is going to be a mess. The system implementation alone is going to be a disaster.
I updatd my resume and LinkedIn profile, signed up for various job alerts and called a few recruiters that I have worked with in the past. It is better to be ready than to have your head in the clouds.
