scumbag leaders...3 DMs let go & others on PIPs

The managers could easily take over a national account position. To have to interview for an internal position like that is such trash. MH in national accounts has done absolutely nothing in many of these major health systems. It takes much more than an occasional call or email. Hate to see what his salary looks like. There are many messages on here that the defenders stated they would never reduce the managers. Well, its happened and more to follow. Everyone just needs to carefully review the weekly reports and you will see how many HSS have quit or been fired. They are trying to do it under the radar so not to induce a panic.

Just because you were a manager does not automatically mean you qualify for national accounts. Do you have contacts in the GPOs and IDNs? Do you know the process to get a RFP and then how to respond? Do you even know what the process is to try to be considered as a vendor on a contract? It's not a matter of just showing up saying, "hi, I'm Joe Blow and we need you to sign this contract" or " if you don't sign our contract, we'll kick you in the ass". In any company where you would be possibly considered as a candidate for something else, you would have to interview. Get real.

Wow you really are a jerk. The managers let go could very easily be trained and put up to speed very quickly and if you don't feel the same you are poorly mistaken. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand the concepts. These were seasoned managers and they can learn rather quickly. In addition, there's been several studies showing it is much more economically benefitial retaining a good employee versus hiring outside. The fact is there is no loyalty anymore. So please remember that when they try to cram the whole "our people is the most important" crap down your throat at the national sales meeting. MH is an idiot that hasn't had much impact with national accounts. One can only wonder how much they pay him as his middle name should be BS.
