Scott bailing?

My best people are not leaving. Look at the latest rankings, just a couple openings where people couldn't meet the challenge. Now, think about the group of people we honored at our recent NSM, all of them are here and many are going to Hawaii with me in June. Stop your whining and work your territory and you to can succeed. This is only the beginning.

As usual, you're in the dark or trying to make people believe all is ok. So Pres wasn't up to the challenge? You love to talk badly about people once they leave. Your best people and favorites ARE interviewing, and WHEN they give notice, you can say I told you so...

All is well, except for a few underachievers who whine. We were up over 70k again this week, we're making a difference.

Seriously, how can you continue to lie the way you do? All is not well! The heavy handed management team continues to run off reps and the company does nothing to change things, despite being told the same things over and over during exit interviews from the reps who have left. Let's see if you can answer one, just one, question honestly. What is the total number of reps who have left the company since we launched in Feb 2011? Do you need to call a friend?

If all is well, why has there been nearly 1200 views on the job opportunities thread in less than 2 weeks??? 1200 views...a lot more than the bogus "positive revere" thread you started Please give us a break with your bullshit.

I am a top ranked rep (last year AND this year) and I am searching for the right opportunity to get out--not because of the product or money or lack of benefits. The ONLY reason I want out is because of the way I have been and continue to be treated by management at this company. If a rep knows what they're doing and they are successful, then the best way to manage that rep is through a supportive role--not through micromanaging them.

Whatever the individual reasons, as many have said before, minimally 95% of the sales force are looking to find a new job. Thereare many valid reasons why everyone is looking.

Oh dear, sounds like someone needs a brand new business plan template to kickoff the summer.

I agree COMPLETELY, thank you. The company hired experienced reps to launch this drug; my manager is degrading, micromanaging, insulting, critical, demanding, and demeaning. How do you expect performance with behavior like that?

There are definitely many valid reasons to leave...being treated like absolute trash by my manager is at the top of my list.

Shut up and go sell something

After reading the boards the last few weeks and not responding, this quote has pushed me over the edge.
The fact that our incompetent managers and regional directors scan the boards and reply in this manner is completely pathetic. While all the reps are out there trying to sell this drug and getting completely abused by pharmacy, what is "leadership" doing, scanning the boards and regurgitating the same useless garbage, " shut up and sell".
Has anyone really stopped and thought what are the managers and regionals really doing? Absolutely nothing! What has your manager or regional really done to benefit your territory?

"shut up and sell" classic primitive response from the morons in charge.

I agree with you completely; first of all, my manager causes me nothing but grief; the number of reports that are required does not allow me to be in the field full time! that in itself is pathetic; so while I'm working on my 7th report for the week, I'm on CP; and, what do I see? I see management trolling and responding! unbelievable! managers are on CP, reps are on CP - no one is in the field. it's no wonder our stock is down.

I concur, in the last two weeks I have spent about 3.5 days actually interacting with customers, the rest of the time I'm writing about them. Good thing we don't have a legal department that cares about the excessive reporting on physician interaction. We obviously have a commercial philosophy that rather we do essays on them instead of convince them to fight for our product.

all companies say shut up and sell including your last company. The difference is most likely you didnt hear it because your numbers were good or your manager was smart enough not to pass it along.
. when asked to write a report i do. thats what the salary is for. after that i sell and thats what the bonus is for. seperate out the emtions and some of the ego and you will be fine.
dont get hung up on my ego comment as we all have one. Good luck

It's good that you change up your script with the poor punctuation, that way we think it's more than one person posting the Koolaid.

Yet we'll still work to leave this joke of a company.

Dude I am not saying not to leave. If your boss is a dick to the nth degree and you cant take it leaving is a great option. In the meantime, why get so upset? It is only a job. Its Pharmaceuticals and if you have not noticed not much of a career move. Do the reports, sell and as you drive home at the end of the day laugh to yourself at what a fool your manager is.
Why you think there is one person changing their grammer and punctuation to slip one past us has me worried for your mental health. Sorry, but I can't help myself. You really think someone is doing that? Maybe it's Randy or even Ted himself. Just so we are clear I posted just before you. My only post. I tried to clean it up a bit this time but didn't want you to be confused.
Good luck and forget about your boss.
