The real concern is if the Nation does not hit its goal, we may not get paid our compensation check next year. It would seem that if we all push a bit harder we may a win/win for all! We came over to Merck because we are the best...by not doing what we were hired to do is letting prove why we should be let go and the product too! AND NO I am not drinking the company coolaid. Just being practical. It is a great drug, and now with the new black cherry formulation...it stands to reason we should all profit from this.

You are just the same as everyone else! No raise no promotion, Merck equalized all representatives, so there is no difference b/w hospital, portfolio, neuro., or any other division. Doctors use what works best with this or any medication. Even the best rep cant move a product if its not the best around or if the managed care is inferior.

It is yet another 5 star drug from SGP and will do incredibly well. We were all told so.

New indications do not mean much other than good money in front of bad. This drug and divisions days are numbered. The growth has flattened this year and and does not seem to be picking up. Tablet flavor may sound enticing but will not make much impact. Suppose the average price is $500 per script. How many scripts are needed to pay the sales force, upper management, marketing, and R&D? Quite a few right. If you were running a business how long would you give it? The plug probably would have been pulled long ago. What do you do now? Sit around and wait for all of your teammates to get separated? The answer is simple, go out and sell as much as you can and leave with the biggest bonus check as possible. With other drugs in the class going generic, you better get scripts while you can or we will all be applying for the few jobs out there in the near future! Bye for now.
