This ^^^ is 100% correct. The geniuses in CT are actively trying to convince an acquirer to pay at least $25B for ZB. They know that at no time in the foreseeable future will ZB's burn rate be lower or its market share higher than either are today. It won't be good for the sales teams, but cashing out now is the best option for shareholders. Good luck to all.

The only reason why Hanson was brought here from day 1 rumor has always been the eventual medtronic takeover.
 






Just think, with Salesforce, it will be glaringly obvious that Z reps haven’t sold a day in their lives. Just cover cases and open a box. Show me a Z doc that wasn’t trained on the product they use today. You can’t.
 






Salesforce is a win-win-win. ZB gets data captured on current accounts and reps. Acquirer can use salesforce data to model "synergies" during due diligence. Acquirer can fire all "redundant" reps and staff the day the deal closes, and handoff the salesforce data to their existing reps.
 






It’s Medtronic without a doubt and I couldn’t be happier. They’ll get rid of the middle managers that bring no value to their teams and give us the resources to win. The bigger we are the better we are!
