Sales Jobs Are Everywhere and Much More Money Than Teva Is Paying

Bon Ajovy has proven to be the demise of TN. Premier neurology salesforce to Primary care college grad force. Move to another company and get paid…..Teva about to lose every good rep they have. Loyalty went out the window at the 3rd layoff in 2 years so if you want to at least keep some good reps than at least pay them you fucktards

With this Prez, you have to be looking at getting huge raises just to keep up. Hell, even IKEA just raised prices 10% because of his supply chain crises and hyperinflation.

you guys need to learn how to negotiate. Abbvie's starting pay is 90 to 110 and you have to pay for your car. Amgen is now starting people at 90. Things have changed big time.

I'm not sure I understand what your point is
Are you saying current Teva reps make less than 100 base?
Maybe all the recent hires but I think anyone who has been here for a few is at 100 to 110
I guess I could be wrong

I think what the last several posters were getting at is Teva is not the highest paying company for reps, but they are not the lowest either. The industry is changing pretty fast. Many companies are changing their pay structure to be lower base and higher bonus. Part of this change is because companies are experimenting with digital sales forces instead of field sales forces (take for example: Pfizer, Novartis, Lilly, etc) This is driving down the salaries of field reps in pharma. Plus, look at companies like Abbvie. They are now charging reps as much as $450 a month for company vehicles and $250 for base models. Still a good deal in todays market for a vehicle but this shows what is happening with the industry.

The one poster said "people need to learn how to negotiate", and he/she is right. But remember companies only have so much room to negotiate as pay structures are pretty much fixed based on title. So if you feel you are being under paid, more than likely you will have to go to another company.

Sorry and yes, I was the original #25 poster and that is exactly what I was conveying.. I am currently at Abbvie and finalizing an offer this week with Teva. The point I was making is that Abbvie is now paying a much higher rate to drive a company vehicle (I pay close to $500/mo). I can also tell you that I know of recent new hires here at Abbvie that are starting at sub 100K base salary. I am posting on your Teva board because I have friends at Teva that are paying less than $110/mo for the use of a pretty nice company vehicle (upgraded Volvos) and I know for a fact that new hires at Teva are starting at $110-$120 base with less experience than I have. Hope to be joining Teva soon.

I don't understand why Teva pays so incredibly low yet they have recruiters go after experienced reps. Are they that clueless to what experienced reps get paid in specialty?

The young and talented reps never stay with teva very long. Usually after 3yrs those reps leave. Look at teva and you will see those that have been there for more then 3yrs are reps running out the clock to retirement.

Agree to survive that long at teva requires spending all of your time at the famous glory.. hole, the only way to get ahead in this company,

Many specialty companies are 140-180 for candidates with the right experience. Layoffs are a concern anywhere these days in this industry, some companies with more risk than others. Base salary isn't everything but the Teva offerings to experienced psychiatry reps is far off base when they can easily get 160 pretty much anywhere else.

well that’s expected for such a tight ass company like Teva. They will always treat their people like c**ts, pay people peanuts and get monkeys hence management is clueless

If you work at teva you are underpaid. Layoffs are part of the industry so who cares what company you work for. Clean your pee up, dust your resume off and go get more money. No one is loyal anymore. Stop talking about leaving and just go do it. Your bank account will look better and you might be able to buy yourself some new Dockers.
