Sales Income

I have a second interview coming up but I think I am wasting my time. I currently make about $130k and have a company car. I'm not clear about the Quest comp plan. Is there anybody making any money?...

How much do you think top LCA reps are making? What about Bio Ref or Sunrise? Get your heads out of the sand Questee! You are the lowest paid reps out there. You also are blessed with the luxury of being the most micro managed. Go run along and play on Sales Force. You are fools to work there.

Specialty role will definitely make that and then some. A 'pam' role won't. But I am a bit surprised you would be applying for a pam role if you were making that kind of money before. A pam role is more of a servicing role.

A PAE could make close to that number as well.

The Specialty positions are a revolving door. Reps come in and promised the world and then they figure it out and leave. There isn't a good spot to land at Quest. I heard HTH guy even left the company and is blazing trails elsewhere.

Again stop spouting off BS. No sales position at quest consistently hits north of 115k. You may have a year where you hit around 130k but the avg is likely somewhere around 100-115k. Quest has never figured out how to set specialty goals, it's too tough a business for them and simply put above their pay grade. As a result, nobody hits plan and nobody makes money. FACT.

What would base salary look like for a Physician account Executive?

Likely anywhere from 50-65k full comp being in range of 85-110k. Before one of you idiots that made more than that last year get on here and say you can make more, of course you can, but that isn't the norm. In fact the vast majority are likely closer to 85-90k.

You will most likely never see six figures, will probably top out at $90k and it will be the most miserable year of your life making that $90k. You will wake up every day with your first thought being "I have GOT to find another job!"

I speak from experience.
