I remember looking into Sage and was told they were only hiring the cream of the crop, "the best of the best". Laughable. Why so they could take selfies and post #thisissage ?

Believe me, it’s not only HR in HQ that has made these sort of statements or have done things to give a positive impression of the company.

All I can I say is I learned a big lesson!

YES!!! This is so true! It was SOOOOO competitive to get hired as a KAM or TBS. We have all learned that when they say “We only hire the cream of the crop” that we should start asking lots of questions to make sure they are, in fact, the cream of the crop. Had we done that we would have realized that they were all dung. We believed their hype! Lesson learned! Now- how do we get outta this hell hole? Are recruiters even going to entertain people coming from this place????

It’s all so sad. We all believed the hype, sadly. Just hoping to find a new place to land before I’m shown the door for not hitting the crazy goals they’ve set for my site of care or the company goes down in flames because they don’t have enough money. My manager just wants more patients sent in to Sage central but they can’t get the current patients approved and treated so how does sending more in help anything? It’s a lose lose situation for me. I don’t see a good ending as an option at this point for me sadly. Good luck to everyone as they find a new place to work

I don’t think the picture for 217 will be clear for awhile. Both the FDA and potential acquirers will want to see longer term retreatment data and if Sage needs to study a higher dose, will need to build safety data for that dose as well. Will likely have to run another efficacy study which will be a couple years. No one is buying this before those data. Plus we don’t even know if 217 can pass a daytime driving study!
 




It’s identical to a company called Praecis about a decade ago. Same thing happened.

also the neighbor company Ultragenyx will be the same thing. That building on the south San Fran harbor will be vacant in two years
