S. Carolina region

That could be a good guess. Crazy isn't it. Ashley is not mapped into FLM roles and FLMs are not being placed in rep roles. If by some miracle something is open they can post for it between April and June. Ashley is a good manager. She is real world. She has good business sense and she cares about her people. Novartis is crazy to over react and lose these people who will now be working against them.

After reading so many of the other posts about FLM's, m.d.'s and reps true hatred for who they have worked for, I feel very lucky to be based in South Carolina. Yes, this situation is unfortunate but at least we have had the pleasure of working for a very well respected team of leaders.
We are a tight-knit group and I respect my district mates, team mates as well as the leadership team here.
From Charleston to Greenville, i think the leadership team is great and view them not only as business associates, but friends as well.
It is not going to be fun finding out who made the cut and who didn't... for reps and management alike

I so agree. Like most of us here, I've been with Novartis for a while. We all work well together and we genuinely like each other. Of course some mor than others, but we still respect one another. We work hard and we care. My manager did a great job of pulling our team together last year. She is a good business person and like Ashley she cares about the people who work for her. It is a shame we have to go through this again. I will miss this group and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it.

I'm just happy I'm not angry. We all knew this was coming. Yes... It is much larger than we ever imagined, but no reason to be mean/hateful!

I have made some great friends in my South Carolina region, and I expect those friendships to continue. We all need to have each other's back, support each other, be there for each other.

It is not going to be easy, but handling this situation with class and grace will be much better for all of us in the long-run.

Cheers to South Carolina!

Shows what good people we really are in SC

8 managers to cover South Carolina? No wonder there is a 65% cut coming. You don't need 8 managers unless you have 24 products. Primary care design has gone beyond ridiculous. Unfortunately, our industry did this by choice. A lot of people will be doing something different soon as a result.

I predict we will be left with one mgr and 8-10 reps. Bigger geographies. More driving. More time away from home/ family. A lot more work for the same pay.
A lot of great people will be looking for jobs soon. :(

Only 5 managers in SC. Greenville, Myrtle Beach, 2 in Columbia and 1 in Charleston. Good times.

South Carolina isn't that big. Get over it or find a job paying half what you make now.

No one is complaining. Just stating a truth that we are going to be faced with!

You clearly are not from SC, possibly not even from Novartis, so keep your negative, harsh attitude to yourself or start a new thread.

Cheers to South Carolina!
