Rpms cancelled

No word from my DM yet

Wonder why they bothered to have that big expensive National Managers Meeting 2 weeks ago if they knew this was going to come down? Couldnt be just to throw everyone off.
Can you really say that SL didn't know or that they just had paid for everything already?

Not only did we have a national managers meeting - think of all the new Aliskiren materials and training we had. If they knew then, it was only senior management, not brand teams. I guess it could have been too late to stop it. I really think they did not know for sure until the 14th.

Are you dopey managers shocked to learn you are useless tools , pawns if you will , like everyone else ?

Pharma manager = fast food assistant manager
Wait till you get into the real world. I'd like to film it .
Bufoons .

Yes i do agree as I was not there but talking to people who where they have said the brand team managers including Will Chou who is head of Aliskiren, were in very good spirits.

...and you are a rep that caters fast food. Bufoon

I got news for you sparky, selling skills are always in demand but I assure you
grossly overpaid babysitters that do nothing other than check boxes are
dinosaurs with absolutely ZERO marketability. I laugh at your future.
Oh & BTW I intentionally spelled BUFFOON wrong in an effort to reveal if you were in fact bright enough to catch the simplest of nuances but as expected your stupidity shines through loud & clear.

HO HO HO , Tool

LOL ! I guess he failed the check box test . Boy howdy I'd hate to be an unemployed DM trying to justify that bloated salary to a prospective client or even a recruiter.
If the market is small for reps it's infinitesimal for DM's.

Right on, because the first words, and I mean very first words from a recruiter or hiring manager will be: "I just want to let you know up front that this job pays $50,000 per year base + commissions".
Or, "You're very well qualified for the job but I do have a major concern, your salary is way above what we're able to pay. In fact, the salary is more entry level than what you're currently making".
Whether you're a rep or DM, you will run into this on every interview. In fact, I've found that having "pharmaceuticals" on your resume does more harm than help when looking for a new job. Any others out there with the same or different issues? It's TOUGH out there, and with Novartis, Merck, Sanofi Aventis, Abbott, Sunovion, and just about every major pharmaceutical company and medical devices are beginning to lay off as well, it is not easy finding new employment. In fact, prepare to be unemployed anywhere from 10 - 15 months before you land something even half way decent! Just sayin.

Hello Ears....McFly!!!! Especially DM boy.....do u not know the brand team already has this mtg in their freakin budget and they have to spend and then come back and explain later why they need more$$$ or use the excuse to justify for more money to justify why they used it and didn't know why just to have a meeting to meet again to justify their job and keep repeat and Pete alive....????? There is more to the big picture on the other side that most of u dims and sums don't get. R u well rounded in your business knowing how it works from both sides of the company or r u just a doer that gets your pay check and gas gift wrapped each month.....????? Sorry what did you say-----that's what I thought~~~don't know your business-- geezzzz

Right, they wouldn't send out a registration email within hours of a surprise 180 on the drug that was supposed to be the future of our company- that would imply they were (yet again) string us along! They would never do that!

Three days before a holiday when the majority of the company is on vacation and NOW they send out the registration for RPMs w/ a mandatory 24 hour commitment- that seems totally logical...

This post is absolutely correct.

We got the surprise telecon "tekturna is dead" which is why CV employees are not making it to 2012. They have already had layoffs prior to Christmas and 2012 brings more job loss. A meeting down payment is chicken feed. Salaries and benefits for an old selling model is where the gold is for the new bottom line in 2012. The better you are the more chance you'll be history.

Only layoffs I know about before XMas was in PR and this was a long time coming
