P1 & Genentech stink! I need a hotel stay in Chicago the evening prior to my am interview. They honored my request along with many other candidates. This pm I receive my itinerary and I have a roommate. of course they are assigning same gender as roomies but we could both be going for the same job. Worse yet, what if it is a rep at the current company I am working at? You guys are soooo flippen cheapo, unbelievable.

Nutty as bad enough to be shuttled like the cattle from room to room where y'all including some seat fillers get to see who your competitions are but even share a same freakin hotel room with stranger? Yuck dude!

Not surprised... ROaCHE handed down 30% travel reduction to us in March last year. Managers across the board panicked and nixed even the legitimate travel. And the expectation this year is to not exceed the 2015 travel spend. Sure we went thru this back in March 2012 but it was just for that year.

I recall my 1st pharma rep job back in the 90's. I called the day of the interview and cancelled as I really didn't want to relocate to this part of Cali. HR insisted that I come check them out and arranged another interview. They arranged a nice French themed boutique hotel. I got an upgrade to a suite with ocean view, fireplace and balcony when I checked with the front desk person saying something like your company is 1 of our best customer (?). I ordered nice room service breakfast but was charged for it. Hiring manager took me out to a fancy ocean view restaurant with the best table which was reserved for this company. Was I impressed? Hell yeah and get out of peddling commodity medical devices!

Hogwash!

Green/Red, Orange or Purple and even the old downtown SSF shuttle Mercedes Sprinters do NOT take anyone to the adult store!

I take Genenbus everyday and NO it does not take anyone to adult store either but the destinations (sometimes multiple stops).

As for thongs - yes seen 1 too many attractive and sadly ugly fat women showing it and you can see the top right above the pants line. But no dongs dropped out of backpacks, yet.

OMG, of course I was kidding that the Gbus stops at the bookstore. However, there are gals that patron the store during lunch, how they get there is unknown. Several bookstore items in fact have been left in Gbuses, I have seen them. Perhaps items fell out of their bag and rolled under the seats. This is not uncommon, happens also on the Gbus to MTV. Employees here are sicko so beware new hires.

Is that bus to MTV Genenbus or shared Google bus? Isn't MTV and Cupertino bus full of Indians? I took one of those bus while ago and this Indian woman in front of my window seat with rather greasy looking hair rested her head on the window and it left disgusting grease stain on the freakin window! I couldn't help myself checking out the windows as I was getting off the bus and seemed like every other window had hair grease stains! YUCK!

Yep heard about a sicko dude watching porn on laptop using company provided Verizon wifi thingy and he was sitting next to a hottie - guess he tried to get her excited? I know that fxcker - he works in B24.

As for dildos - I flew from Dominican Republic to San Juan PR and a US customs dude went thru a carr- on bag belonging to couples in their 40's and he pulled out long shiny silver dildo and asked it if was a flashlight.
