I have worked at device companies that had roommates, and big pharma that did not. Do you have roommates at training, company meetings, etc.

Everyone has something to say when this question is asked, but it is a fair question with the new MS sales team. Many of us will be coming from outside companies, and we can not ask the recruiter or hiring manager.

IDIOT, listen chump get your own room asshole and yeah you'll be fed well on top of B82 training penthouse floor with catered breafast, lunch (or voucher for B82 canteen) and supper.

i find it humorous that all of these outside candidates are getting way ahead of themselves about what life is like here (car or car allowance, roommates at training and meetings, bonus ranges.....) when you haven't even had a face to face interview. Worry about getting an interview and then you can worry about the trivial things. Clearly you have not made any effort to find a Genentech to speak to.

I am not a fan of having a roomie but will gladly host that Juggs Julie gal who has been posting about MS positions. Juggs, can I bunk with you during training?

Silly questions get silly answers. You will not only share a room but you'll share a bed with Rocko.
 






There is a large dormitory on campus where there is separate sleeping quarters for Boys and Girls. Lights out after study hall. The house mother makes sure no one breaks curfew. Training is quite stressful and the "role play" final exam is very competitive.

Have the G bus shuttle drop you by the adultbookstore. Only two miles away in an industrial zone. Many G gals seen there during lunch making purchases for their gal partners. Ask for the employee discount.

F&@& off douche. What I wrote was the facts. Everyone wants to know everything before they even get a face to face. Let the process work itself out and if you get an offer, ask all of the "must know" questions that ass wipes troll on here for. My karma was getting a great position here after several attempts and now respect the process for preparing for interviewing as well as the culture here, even if there are those who think we are high on ourselves. Having worked at big pharma (BMS), my experience is positive.

Worked here for years and did not know that, just did an online search and you are correct. Explains the thongs and dongs I have found rolling around the shuttle buses over the years. Outsiders know this, the gals here are so fugly they cannot get dudes so they go after chicks. Men are not welcome here.

Hogwash!

Green/Red, Orange or Purple and even the old downtown SSF shuttle Mercedes Sprinters do NOT take anyone to the adult store!

I take Genenbus everyday and NO it does not take anyone to adult store either but the destinations (sometimes multiple stops).

As for thongs - yes seen 1 too many attractive and sadly ugly fat women showing it and you can see the top right above the pants line. But no dongs dropped out of backpacks, yet.

P1 & Genentech stink! I need a hotel stay in Chicago the evening prior to my am interview. They honored my request along with many other candidates. This pm I receive my itinerary and I have a roommate. of course they are assigning same gender as roomies but we could both be going for the same job. Worse yet, what if it is a rep at the current company I am working at? You guys are soooo flippen cheapo, unbelievable.
