Roommate

incorrect, if you want your own room and there is availability just book it on your own. Put it in the ol' tax file and let your roommate buy you some beverages in thanks!
I guess they’re not giving us this option because they’re keeping the hotel we’re staying at top secret. No hotel name or address mentioned on the registration for the meeting. Said we would be told at a later date. Absurd!

there will be roommates unless you qualify for your own room within the company

Dear Penthouse forum,
My roommate came in a littley tipsy one night and climbed into my bed instead of hers. I pretended to be sleeping as she cuddled up next to me. I've always been curious, and when her hands started to caress my heaving bosoms...

are you kidding me, you still are required to have roommates. Hum how about the rep that’s transitioning, or some sex addict or there are endless reasons when a company should not do this.

I asked my manager if I could pay for my own room and was told no. Is this like an initiation or something? Stupid!
It was the same when I worked at Sanofi. All Diabetes teams had to share rooms and so I had to sneak and get my own room. They wouldn't allow me getting my own room unless I had a legit medical reason even if I was going to pay for it! It was crazy. I was willing to pay all that money and be honest about it but yet they still tried to make me share a room. HOW they can do that I have no idea in today's world. Sanofi was the lowest of the low but now that I think of it... and this is no offense to you but Diabetes especially insulin sales is just bottom of the barrel and you're a dime a dozen no matter where you work. The way they look at it is "fine... go find something else and we'll hire another number". Try to get the heck out of Diabetes sales. It's really awful. I've been there, I know. Even selling insulin pumps suck... I've done that too. Get into Oncology. Much better and much better money.
