Rocky Mountain High

Sounds good man. But there's always a fly in the ointment.

Employers hold all the cards," said Curtis Graves, a staff attorney for the Mountain States Employers Council.

So you smoke only off-duty? Not good enough. Consuming just at home provides no protection if your workplace drug test comes back positive for marijuana.

This song was not about drugs. But it sounds like it was.

I think this may be the first time you've brought a ray of sunshine to the board.

Warms my heart just to know that somebody could get busted in the brave new green world of Colorado.

You know Man, after my exile I thought about helping you out but you don't need any help. Like watching a Tennis pro play two blind children. If they get the ball over the net you're standing there and slam it back into their nuts...lol

It will take a Court case to bar employers from gathering this information, or at least taking it under consideration. Random Testing should be limited to certain groups of professionals, starting with Politicians. None of the foreign Pharma Companies, that I am aware of, have Random Drug Testing. Usually, it's American companies.

I smoked now and then for my entire 28 years w/ Wyeth then Pfizer. My boss knew it and knew if I got charged, since I have my physician my written physician recommendation, I'd sue and walk with millions. They never did diddley. Smart thing too - I was always in the top 10...

Cash talks, bullshit walks....

I appreciate your sentiments, but they seem to be at odds with the standard that others on this board have set regarding employment.

If its ok, as some on this board have argued, for someone to lose their job for expressing their personal beliefs such as Phil Robertson, then I don't see how any employee is going to find any cover to smoke marijuana if their employer doesn't like it.

Or in your case, talks big. Seeing as how you were potentially in violation of federal law, had the company chosen to push the issue, I figure you would have walked away with nothing.

You nailed it. Usage is all the way up into top management now so they will be being MUCH more careful whose lives and rights they fuck with.

They didn't have the BALLS to push the issue. I got it al and had they pushed it would have had their nutsacks hanging by a string.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Really? When you are guilty of breaking federal law? Somehow I figure that its your testicles that would have been in jeopardy, but you always believe in stuff for which there is no sound evidence so I shouldn't be too surprised here.
