#1 Nonsense; it is primarily a pharma plan and most accept it. Unless you live in nowheresville.

Absolute truth. Only two choices, UHC or Horizon, and there's no difference in price or coverage. To get the same coverage as employee, you have to pay co-insurance of roughly $400/mo for you and spouse. What you don't see is the $15,000 / year / for 2, they drain out of your retiree health account to cover the "benefit" side. You have no option to shop what so ever. The money can only be used for one of those plans.
Retiree dental is an equal rip. Price quote was $113 / mo / for 2, underwritten by Metlife. Went directly to Metlife and got the exact same coverage for $89 / mo.
They really need to do a better job at negotiating rates.
