Retiree Medical Rx Screw Job

Can you believe the audacity of Pfizer to eliminate Upjohn meds from zero cost Rx Drug list. WTF, does not pfucking pfizzer receive revenues from these medications? This chickenshit company never ceases to amaze me. I am soooo happy I screwed them on a daily basis while employed. F U pfe.

Agree with the above! Just got my Retiree 65+ info in the mail and you guessed it . . . . . . . . . plan sucks even more than it did before. They drop Lipitor and Viagra from the Pfizer 0 Copay list . . . . . . . who woulda thunk except to realize that Pfizer cares NOTHING about its employees but MORE about making MORE $. Looks like I am outta the retiree plan for good! Good luch Pfizer retirees!

My guilt from working Tuesday - Thursday from 10 - 2 for 25+ years becomes less and less.... As pfe takes away more now, I am still Way ahead of The Game! Pfizer, I beat you at your game.

Looks like PFE wants to get rid of the Retiree health coverage options in order to improve their bottom line at the expense of its long standing employees! Each year the monthly premiums go UP, UP and UP. What other Medicare Advantage Plan charges upwards of $500 - $600 per MONTH for coverage? What is so great about PFE's plan that they charge this much?? Crazy. Even crazier now that the Upjohn drugs have been removed from the PFE 0 Copay list! Never knew that Viagra was an Upjohn drug?????? Or did PFE just put it on the Upjohn list to screw its employees?

Viagra is an Upjohnson drug.

You do know that you can get generic Lipitor and generic Viagra for like $150 a year? Use Good RX. If you can’t afford this in retirement you shouldn’t have retired.

I think the point is that the Pfizer retiree plan always included Pfizer branded products for no cost. It was an attractive benefit. Pfizer does keep whittling away benefits.

I started in the latter 80s, and I do believe the retiree medical then was free for life.... I may be wrong on this, but that’s what I recall. In your 20s it wasn’t on the radar, but my how things have changed.

The reason for drugs like Lipitor, Viagra, Celebrex, etc. no longer being covered is that technically they will no longer be Pfizer drugs. With the Mylan and Pfizer Upjohn merger forming a new company, Viatris, these post LOE brands will no longer be under the Pfizer umbrella.

Now if you need some Eucrisa you are in luck;)
