Let's be honest here:

The salesforce can't sell anything anyways with the materials we have been given. Rehash, reminders, Starbucks etc don't sell anything. It's just "activity", looking busy to pretend we are doing our jobs, so we get paid...everybody knows it, everybody looks away and hope the numbers look good at the end of the month.

Nobody wants to see a Rexulti rep almost 10 years after product launch. There is nothing in this visit for the provider, and you know it!

Having this said, any rep who is banking on otsuka is in a very precarious position. Your fortune in your territory can change very quickly depending on formulary approvals and goals from the home-office. And there is nothing you can do to impact those demands with the materials we have been given.

My guess is the HO finally figured out we have WAY too many people. Our new indication doesn't even pay a rep's salary, "growth" is coming primarily from price increases not new prescriptions, and the competition is eating our lunch!

Our DMs don't really know what to tell you at this point. Their only reason to be in the field is to cover their own "activity' and check the boxes.

You know it and I know it.

Have a plan B or a second income stream, you may depend on it.
