Rep salary in each business unit

We need to keep his thread going for transparency, GSK along with all the other companies position themselves as inclusive, equal, equitable, but when u start talking to colleagues about salaries you will see vast differences with similar employment situations….

2 decades plus with company, current in specialty, 148base and now 45 bonus

2 decades for that salary? Jesus have some pride. No wonder they pay low…bums like you don’t have any pride. New hires command that these days

I'm looking at what salaries are and I am amazed. $210K? for a rep? Do you really think you earned that? And for those with salaries in the $160's, feel very fortunate. With bonuses making annual income over $200K is silly.
Been at this a long time and the impact we create is so low. Never mind that actual time worked in territory. Your actual earned per hour salary would rival a high priced lawyer. Get over yourselves.

I agree. Most FLL's earn 150K base. 40K bonus potential and annual stock share.

To Post #14. Here's the hidden truth. 1. Reps give the most bang for the marketing buck. Not Peer to Peer programs, not DTC, and certainly not 1:1 emails. The rep has the intangible that the company never mentions...relationships. Relationships that allow positions like the SAM to get into offices. We create opportunities for the MSL to get involved. And those paid guns for hire..ahemm..I mean speakers. How would they receive their quid pro quo ..ooops ...honorarum..without reps generating an audience for them to read those powerpoint slides? 2. Reps give FLLs and SLLs a purpose. Who would they point finger at..I mean..who would they manage if there were no reps? 3. Back to relationships. Yes managed-care is also necessary. But without a salesforce, very little product gets pulled through.

So are reps paid too much? I don't think so. If anything those in mid-level leadership are committing highway robbery every two weeks. Just sayin.

I am laughing. Was at GSK for about 12 years. Left when they sold us to Novartis, then came back when Doug Smith got the band back together. Negotiated a 30k bump in my base pay, a 70k sign on bonus, and then left again after a year to join a real biotech that gives substantial equity in RSUs and options.

leadership at GSK is nonexistent. Tools

That is low for oncology. Coming from the Tesaro side, my base is 210
Ugh another dude full of shit. You
Don’t make 210k. That is a lie. No rep is making that much. I have insight into the rep salaries and no one is making that. Especially any one from tesaro. You might top out there if you could actually hit targets but you sell
Zeja so…
The SAMs make 200k plus that is a fact. They would never pay a rep
That much because the SAM would demand more. And if by some stretch you are telling the truth…. You are being overpaid, Zebulon sales are awful.
