Who did and who did not receive an email regarding severance packages for legacy SP & M?
So no people from top willing to spill the beans, what is happening with the sales force, I heard they are taking away a lot of our samples and sunshine act in 2013 so is there a use for us after that? If you are smart you are looking for another career! But when is the big question? I still think January or even through march, they always want a good start to the year, so I think they give us the 60 day warning in Jan. And layoffs in March?? Any thoughts.

Why is it that no one will say anything, meetings being canceled and I feel as though someone is not telling us something. If anyone has the truth on when field sales will find out what is happening please let us know. I am applying to jobs now, but is it going to be before years end or is it after the first of the year. 60 day warn period would be in November if it will happen like it always doeskin January ? Any thoughts, any wierd meeting going on right now? What is going on at corporate?
Some divisions received email last week about severance, while they had to complete PMP. End of September is the date for primary sales to receive severance notification. All decisions are already made to who is retained. Early retirement offered and hand raising will be excepted. A total “blood bath” for those who remain. No overlay, shared position, or two representaives territory will be retained. Living in a territory will be required for feild and CTL. CTL postions will combine three territories. Legacy SP will receive the “SP severance package” this to negate law suites. High salary legacy Merck representatives will be let go, if not a S3. Good by, S3's are a balance of Merck and SP and only a few will remain.
