There is no opinion in play here son. It’s fact the warn act is 60 days.
As someone newish to pharma (5yr) that has not been through a layoff can someone clarify the warn act for me?

Like if you get layed off you work through 60 days and then get severance or do you get laid off, turn your work stuff in and then your severance is 60 days + 2 weeks per year?

Work stuff gets turned in right away, you stay on payroll and benefits are kept active for 60 days, and then you get a lump sum check for severance (2 weeks per year)

All companies are difference with severance. However if a company has over a certain amount of employees they have to give 60 days notice before a layoff or (not certain) pay for 60 days for those impacted. In the case of Xolair it looks like they are given 60 days for “warm”, then several months on the company to work and find jobs internally or externally. If they haven’t found anything by the termination date in late Feb 2025, then they are separated from the company and severance will kick in depending on how much time people have with the company
 
































Seriously, does no one comprehend an email. They literally sent an email to everyone stating how long xolair reps will remain on the payroll (feb) non vested stock prorated, how long they are in the field (Nov). Only thing it didn’t say was how many weeks per year they will receive. But instead of reading the email, let’s ask on cafe pharma. The email was in English.
