So GSK officially has an all female executive leadership team. They've made a big deal about this in comments to the media. Even the Viiv divisions entire leadership team are comprised of all women. Our stock is in the crapper, Emma passed on a multi-billion dollar deal from Unilever and the corporate culture remains in the dump. After 23 years with this organization I have never seen it so bad with the exception of Patient First. A one of a kind monumental disaster. So what's in store for the field for the remainder of the year? For 2023? I try and I try to remain hopeful but the leaders in this company continue to place unnecessary stress on us. Goals that you can never achieve, or at least not for any stretch of time. Unrealistic exceptions and a complete lack of of decency or respect. You walk on water one quarter and are treated like the spawn of satan the next. Why does our leadership embrace this type of management style? We have to be one of the only professional organizations who still operate with a 1980's Gordon Gecko mentality. In a time where Apple employees threaten to strike. Where Work from home with flex hours have become the norm. Where sales goals are national / regional based on geographic anomalies. Where it's a bout teams vs individuals. Let's see if our 100% women's executive team can make our company a better place to work. Thoughts?
