reimbursements - expenses

What is the deal reimbursements? They want us to get expense reports in on time, but they are taking forever to pay us back! I don't get it, it is like we are spending our paycheck on lunches and it takes forever to reimburse, it really creates a hardship for the reps. On top of that, they make us feel like we could lose our job and it makes you wonder if you will ever be reimbursed.

Also, there are many expenses that we don't get reimbursed for(wear and tear on car, car maintenance, phone, internet, personal computer), so it would be nice to get payed for the things they will pay for. I see a lack of appreciation to a sales force that is working hard.
 








Castle only reimbursed for gas and food when I was there...........Your right..(.they) RM, DVP's, SD, don't apprecitate, or respect, or care about your cost in doing this job. Did I
mention Trust too.....Their too busy babysitting and tracking every move you make....
 








We were told that when the glorious DVP's started they did not receive any expense reimbursement and one DVP said he put off his electrical bill to hold lunches so they decided they would give us our $1200 just out of the kindness of their hearts. We shouldn't expect it and we are lucky. The first training class put oil changes, car washes etc. on their expenses because those are allowed at other companies but not Castle. Lunches and gas only. I was able to write the mileage off on my taxes which does help some. We used to be paid our expenses right away but now they have to be submitted on a specific day or you have to wait until the next reimbursement date. So strange.

Dear Rob, my territory is West of the Mississippi, therefore I do not have many offices doing a large amount of tox screening. I could not possibly make 10 new contacts a day to legitimate offices. What I could and did do is target offices which were testing or had a large potential to screen. You let me go right before I landed a nice size account which would make me one of your best sales representatives. Give your sales representatives who probably know more about sales then you a break. Just because you won the lottery ticket to one account does not make you an expert. Give up your flawed model. You are hurting Castle and many families who try to adhere to your ridiculous sales model. I was there less then six months, had an awesome closing ratio and called on accounts every day. I did the right thing. You did the wrong thing.

What are the initials of your DVP? I think my DVP is working me hard to milk another account, then kick me out. He has hinted to letting me go, but knows I have a few things in the works and wants me to land those before he lets me go.

Oh man!!! Your old manager is something else haha. Little guy doesn't know what he is doing! If doctors only knew that guys like L were in management, they would laugh at Castle. Pretty much all of the DVP's are tools and Rob likes it that way because they make him feel awesome.

Just watch, they keep this cycle up, they will be pumbled!
 








Be careful. They will call all of your accounts and any collectors that you have in place right before they let you go. My DVP has a collector he uses to do his dirty work and call accounts. One rep was in his account when the DVP was on the phone with them. They dumped Castle as soon as he was gone anyway.
 








There is no legal reason you can not go back into your accounts and tell them you will no longer be their rep. If they ask why you can tell them. Why not? You are simply carrying on you commitment to customer service.
 








Interesting with all the turnover none of the DVP's have ever been let go. They must have been promised all the accounts that their reps produce or something of that nature. They call all accounts prior to letting someone go.
 








One representative had a presentation scheduled with a new account he was calling on. Right before the appointment he was told that Rob and someone else would be flying in to handle it. The representative was told he "didn't need to be there." Is that weird or what? He cancelled the presentation and quit the company. The person was doing very well.
 
















I worked for Castle in a large territory and drove an enormous amount of miles. My transmission just went out. I can't help but think about the many miles I put on it for Castle that I did not get reimbursed for. Just another negative about this company.

Good hing you quit or got fired when you did. Hopefully your vehicle lasted long enough for you to find gainful employment? I think about my vehicle getting pounded by Castle everyday and realize if it breaks my pay will not cover a new battery. Maybe a headlight. How much did you spend on lunches out of your pocket too. I really feel your pain. Last Friday my car died in an intersection and I thought immediately I was doomed an how bad my pay is at castle.

The management team and many executives have their vehicles taken care of by castle. Just an FYI.
