Now that you've all had a chance to vent and go completely off topic....can anyone answer the original question on comp for this position?
37k base, Chevy Cruze or Smartcar, t-mobile prepaid flip phone.
Hey guerrei, i see that after all of the talk of you moving on after 5 years, you are still reading and posting on CP.
It is so obvious that the above post is written by you, with the same BS. You have been talking that drivel forever. You always talked about medtronic, you were their best non-employee. or maybe you were an employee. you seemed to always be on their side when it came to business dealings, and we all know, based on your "field time" how much of a con game you played. portraying yourself to be all classy and good, but getting down and dirty with reps in the field. you may hide behind that pretty boy, high fashion facade, but you were a bad guy that did many bad things.
Seems to be doing very well for himself with his job and being an author of a book on Amazon. Good for him
Significantly less than it looked last year. Resumes are being shopped at a frenzied rate and change is inevitable. Senior management has shown the real value they put on maintaining a compliant and high quality management team. They have their heads in the sand when it comes to payola for hardware business, just look at the guy in SoCal. How does he have all that business in Vegas? Ask anybody close to him and they will tell you the same. Wonder if he was recruited by Guerreri?
My point exactly. "Perhaps you should be a leader and create an environment for success." Look in the mirror, you're the weakest link. Crying and posting on this POS message board after midnight. Guess what? Nobody cares. Boo hoo, your distributor hasn't created a successful environment for you, that's why you're sales are pitiful. Give me a break and grow up. Hate to tell you but until you develop a solid work ethic and become an integral part of your customers patient care team, you are wasting your time in this industry. Bottom line, the successful distributor rep has the ability to earn more, not be micromanaged and build a diversified portfolio, but you need to be fiscally responsible and take care of your taxes on time. The direct rep will make a lower commission rate and be subject to never ending micromanagement, but will have a modest benefit package and will be free from the more involved financial responsibility of a distributor rep. But here's the rub, sport. Without sales, the model you choose doesn't matter. If you are unhappy working for your distributor, leave. He or she probably is equally unhappy with your crappy sales and you will not be missed.
The guy in LA who gets all is business in LA by greasing the hands of his surgeons is Chris Smith. Get your facts correct. Most unethical distributorship out there. Once again Orthofix pays no attention to him just like they did with the Blackstone distributors. They all will get caught again!
