All of the profanity and personal attacks on the management will not resolve anything. It is time to put together a legitimate plan for changing things at BL. First start posting legitimate examples of incompetence experienced with managers and area directors. Not slanderous name calling but truthful and accurate examples of problems observed and encountered. Remember WP people may be monitoring this website so include HR and global personnel. After you post here send an account of your experiences to WP directly - address is below. Name calling will not accomplish anything - detail your actual experiences and problems with managers.

List goes on and on. she is protected by PS and BC in HR. That's why they brought her in. All of them from novartis to protect each other.

It would take a strong leader (CEO) to root out all the bad leadership in this company. There is no strong leadership because the CEO is spending all his time on trying to sell the company rather than trying to fix what is wrong. No change until a long term holder of this company is found.

At last years POA meeting, KK was up in front of the room talking about the importance of a strong launch of Zirgan and how we reps need to be diligent in seeing our physicians and doing data analysis to well target our efforts in the field. A question was posed from the group about the pediatric indication on Zirgan and the Besi- Zirgan call direction some of our peds were showing in our call deck. The woman had a "deer in the headlights moment" and was stuttering around and fumbling through papers trying to come up with a response. TOTALLY caught with her pants down. Had no clue Z had a ped indication and that call directions were telling us to present Z to certain peds. Sad part - no one was trying to stump her. The question was for guidance on the Zirgan ped indication because management has never addressed the ped indication and had never addressed the Besi-Zirgan call direction.
THIS is what scares me people. Our management is clueless about our products - even the brand new ones. Even more clueless about the communications coming from corporate to sales force about forcing efforts in field. Left hand does not know what right hand is doing. I do not care who this woman is sleeping with - I care about how little she understands about her job, products and her responsibilities. Hell this woman is hiring/firing people and she is the picture of incompetence.

I really do not know who is worse KK or PS. I think maybe PS with his GLUE-coma rather than glaucoma. Hey P_rry it is pronounced Glaaahcoma. That was really embarrassing in front of the Pfizer folks.

A manager who recently won manager of the year has got to be one of the biggest doofus heads on the planet. At launch of B he instructed his team NOT to take advantage of the six month trial period B received on many state Medicaid plans. This was foolish because coverage was going to carry through end of year - when numbers matter most - and reps would have time to recover from any loss of coverage in January (beginning of new year). If reps had listened to him he would never had won manager of the year. B carried him. An inability to logically examine different selling situations and different positioning points for a product severely hamper his ability to lead a successful team. Yet - he is KK's Queen Bee. Unbelieveable.

Talking to him is like talking to midget high on pain killers. He's damp. Like no light bulb on inside his head. PS and KK are adjusting goals for people AND they are making changes to the product distribution as necessary to get who they want in platinum club. Remember last October with the Xalatan changes. That was bad business people. Cannot trust this losers.

I was in this POA and remember this exchange. If memory serves me the initial response she managed to spew out her mouth was "are you sure the direction is B-Zirgan or is it B-Zylet". This is an even WORSE indictment of her stupidity and lack of product knowledge. There has NEVER been a ped indication of Zylet and we would never be presenting Zylet to peds. What the H. This woman is sad and pathetic.

Well This stuff is the tip of what they (KK,PS,BC) are doing to support there favorites. The reps in V territory are spending around 5000 a month on LUNCHES. KK spots him more money than anybody else in West. Those amounts of money are the equivalent of buying scripts from doctors. How many other reps would like that kind of money to dine and dessert your top accounts? Think it would help? Flagrant abuse.

Well management can thank V for the failure with the Besivance launch. BL management relied heavily on his guidance for launching this new antibiotic because he had sold and launched an antibiotic before. Apparently though, he did not learn anything.

What support did R&D provide for this launch? If the support is good enough the product should have sold itself (based on great R&D data).
