Rare Disease Hunger Games

DG was picked up in a fire sale from Biogen when she was cast off for screwing up their Alzheimer’s play. As usual, Sanofi saw an opportunity on the scrap heap for leaders.

She is led by consultants and buzz words. There is nothing behind the curtain.
There is something behind the long coats (she) wears.

“Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear.”

We will soon be battling against each other to remain in the game. Unless nobody is left to play. Many have escaped to freedom already from this needlessly cruel game. All for a new shiny “leadership” badge from our new Carole, Seneca Crane.
truth! so many older reps and managers are clinging to hope. this whole process is for you. time to move on and retire

Anyone interview with Raj recently? He showed up totally unprepared and didn't know who i was after being with the company for more than 20 years, didn't know who my manager was, didn't know who I interviewed with before interviewing with him, didn't know what positions that I posted for, and knew nothing about me despite having my resume in hand. Anyone else have a similar experience with this clown? Funny how Raj admitted at the NSM this year in front of more than 150 people that his boss Dwane brought him from one position to the next as Dwane advanced through the organization. Pathetic how there others that applied for these promotional positions never stood a chance.

Same for me. Totally unprepared, unprofessional, knew absolutely nothing about me, didn't even know where I was located, what positions I posted for, or who my RD was. Showed up like an ass hat.

Deb is slow to get the true perspective on things. Not impressed in the least. Seems like she likes the pseudo-nepotism that exists between Dwane the enabler, and Raj the inept.

Don’t blame DG. Company was failing and she was only one willing to take on the hatchet job that was gonna be required. That’s why the search took so long. Sanofi can’t recruit talent. They just develop and lose it.

Okay, so I stuck it out. Didn’t leave, like so many others. But now, this is it? There is no plan. No direction. We’ve basically turned our backs on our customers since last June. And the GMs are clueless and invisible. The biggest culture killer was Scarfy landing as GM. So we are left with only one conclusion: Sanofi wants to be an Immunology powerhouse and to do that they basically cut Rare to the bone. Full stop.
