Radius

The plan with this outfit is to contract like crazy. However, Amgen will likely just do the same. So at best, it's some small time outfit vs a behemoth. With regard to sales leadership and particularly the payer team, there just isn't much great experience here. It's largely a group of people who were on the verge of being pushed out of previous companies. In fairness, Radius just couldn't get the best because the base salaries were relatively low and the options were mostly at about 10k shares or less. Radius has an ok product, but at the end of the day, they just don't have the commercial folks and overall firepower to match with the big boys.

I bet they're not regretting they passed on you.

Yes, on top of the regular holidays you get 6 weeks vaca, 10 personal days, and the week between Xmas and New Years. 50k signing bonus. Medical and dental with NO copays or co-insurance. 401K matches you $2 for every $1 you put in. Starting salary is 120k with 70k bonus at target.

Is this the managers compensation plan? What is the reps compensation plan?

Thats really low. Injectable reps should at LEAST be at 100k+.

When they said managers were st 120k with 70k target bonus I knew something was off. Target bonus for reps is around 30-35k.

How would a manager make more bonus? That's the rep reward. That's insane.

It can't be that low for a rep.

They must want non experience reps. No rep who can sell their product effectively is taking that when the base salary is 110k+ for reps selling the same drugs.

Just can't believe the salary is that low when they want experience with injectable and HUB, No rep with that is going to come to Radius unless they are unemployed. If they want a great launch, they have to get the talent and experience

I agree 100%

Please understand what this company is. They want to sell the company NOW. They will employ CSO sales reps keep expenses down keep capitalization HIGH. All this to be attractive to a suitor. No way anyone at this point beats Prolia or Forteo. Stock is at $50 with no revenue. Take this job only if you are unemployed or desperate. And no one will EVER see "target"

They are NOT hiring contract reps. They are hiring 150 Radius reps. Not contract. Sorry to burst your bubble. Sorry you couldn't get an interview.

And as far as the drugs....do your research. They are DRAMATICALLY BETTER. 86% reduction rates when it comes to broken bones. That nearly doubles the two you mentioned. This is ground breaking and a great drug. Smh. Only question is will they sell out or keep. They have another couple of drugs following that will revolutionize the game.

You ought to do a little more research...not one payer will go near this drug at launch because they know it will be obsolete in July when amgens anti sclerostin gets approved. This drug is nothing but a me too and it won't be used after July.

Lol this is funny. You're a peasant who can't get an interview. Research Radius. They've been around for a decade preparing for this. Amgen comes out yes....and then Radius have another installment of theirs in a patch which will change the game. No more injection genius.

Bye Bye big Pharma.

You can't fix stupid. You get hired with Radius, and you're along for the ride in this disease market. Amgen can't hang with thisu less they buy it.

Investigational drug product candidate abaloparatide-TD

We are also developing abaloparatide-transdermal, which we refer to as abaloparatide-TD, based on 3M’s patented Microstructured Transdermal System technology for potential use as a short wear-time transdermal patch. We hold worldwide commercialization rights to the abaloparatide-TD technology. During 2014, we reported progress towards the development of an optimized transdermal patch that may be capable of demonstrating comparability to abaloparatide-SC. In preliminary, nonhuman primate pharmacokinetic studies, we achieved a desirable pharmacokinetic profile, with comparable AUC, Cmax, Tmax and T1/2 relative to abaloparatide-SC. We believe that these results support continued clinical development of abaloparatide-TD toward future global regulatory submissions as a potential post-approval line extension of the investigational drug abaloparatide-SC. We commenced a human replicative clinical evaluation of the optimized abaloparatide-TD patch in December 2015, with the goal of achieving comparability to abaloparatide-SC, which we expect to complete during 2016.

I did phone screen and recruiter assured me $110k base is probably tops you can get.
Did you apply via website or right thru recruiter? I see all the jobs posted on the corporate website and wonder if there is any other way to get in. I have sold in this market before and think this will be a great opportunity. Whether it gets bought down the road or not, start ups are always a risk.
