So, I work for UT. (Can't you tell by the way I started that sentence with "So,"?) Life is probably a bit better here than with you at Lung LLC, but it still sucks. I, unlike so many of my elitist UT colleagues, like and respect my Lung LLC rep. I feel really bad for you with your goals because that means no bonus and probably even termination for some people. That's not right. Bitching about goals does not mean you are bad performers.
We were all hired thinking we were coming to this unique little company where we could help patients with good products, not be held back like big pharma, and we would be paid handsomely for our efforts. I have NEVER worked for a more insincere, suspicious, micromanaging company in my life. I work hard, always have, but here it seems as if that is not good enough. I need to be drinking the corporate Kool-Aid so I can work 24/7. (I'm pretty sure 25/8 is the expectation from some mangers) Why are you considered a poor performer or not a team player if you're unwilling to dedicate every single minute of your life to this job? I thought we were a family, but we can't spend any time with our own families because we have to work. Makes no sense.
Maybe my life would be better if I was a Mormon. I'd be promoted.
