Q4 Goals - We work for idiots

I can't believe what this company just did to it's sales force. These new goals are unbelievable. I have been around a couple of years band at Lung and have never been so flabbergasted of the insensitivity towards it's sales force. It is a model for disaster. I have no trust in this company now. What a joke that family reunion was now. I have been tolerating a bad manager but this is over the top now that Martine and Larry screwed us. Good bye LungRx - you won't screw me twice.
 






I work on the UT side of the company and have heard what they did to LungRx this quarter. I feel so sorry for my partner at LRX. That was wrong to do and can only be viewed as malicious by management. I hope my LRX partner doesn't quit but I wouldn't blame her Sorry LRX. We are behind you even though you have been thrown to the curb.

I am all for hitting goals. I believe we should have to work hard and stretch a little to make them, especially since the company has a target. But from what I have seen/heard the reps are needing 60%-100% TRx growth over Q3. Tell me in what world is that attainable, except maybe in a new launch scenario.

Maybe the company needs to re-evaluate the corporate goal and accept that is was wrong and too aggressive.

Name calling aside. The goals are not reasonable. I know the company has the goals it has set but let's get real. This is PAH not some everyday disease. There just are not enough patients to hit these goals.

The company set itself up to fail in fffirst quarter as well. Nobody is going to try in Nov/Dec now. This is bad management 101. Plus, we as salespeople just lost all faith in our leaders and what they tell us. Why try if they are going to crap on us. Nothing is fair and real with them. 65% next year is probabloy a pipe dream too.

Here's a thought...you're a whining lil bitch. With the issues at actelion, these numbers are attainable. We have the better product, the resources, and management behind you to get this done. Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink. People are out there unemployed and you're here making +150k and still complaining! It's pathetic.

Hey idiot- Nobody at LRX is making 150k+ especially with these goals. Most territories can't make this 4Q goal even if they had four quarters to do it. ASS! Shut your mouth! You might be one of the chosen reps that have something to work for but 90% of your partners are screwed. Understand that working hard and being promised these pipe dream bonus payouts last January and now 9 months later realizing it was all fabricated hurts alot of people. EXPECIALLY when you hear how great the company is doing but not wanting to pay us for doing it. This is enough to make you want to have a sex change - well, almost.

Hey Asshole! What resources are you referring to? The expense budget that was cut to the bone for 4th quarter? The physician leave behind material we have been promised since Jamaica, but didn't get until last week? How about that trustworthy data we get from sales analytics? I can tell you, this company cooks the books better than any I have ever seen. The company's best resource is the talent they hired a year ago. The hacks that were here before Nov 8, 2010 (with the exception of an elite few), couldn't wipe the ass of anyone from my training group! We jumped from the frying pan into the fire when we took this job. I guess I have to get my bonus money like the legacy reps used to, through my mileage reimbursement. :)

Of course you would bring up sales reporting/analytics as an excuse for your shitty performance. I've seen this for close to twenty yrs, just projection for you not performing. As vie said before, stop complaining and go to work. As for your mileage reimbursement schemes, I will be taking a closer look at that from now on. Remember, you are fucking with the IRS as well. I will fire you, they will have other plans for your sorry ass.
 






What problems is Actelion having and how does that have anything to do with Adcirca sales? What fool is posting this garbage? And by the way - the NE RBD posting all over this website is a little too obvious.

Didn't the in class competitor to Tracleer get the Black Box for LFT monitoring removed in March and unit shipments in the US are down 4% thru 9 months of 2011 vs 9 months of 2010. The problem is the US is the largest market for Tracleer. Now they have lost some managed market formulary decisions! Not a good thing.

While the ERA's have a heightened noise level, the PDE-5 market is growing at a faster rate so Adcirca is growing.
