PUT UP OR SHUT UP










I will tell you what, castle has gotten better since I started. It seems like the turnover has slowed. Honestly, if they would keep this up and stay off our backs, I would consider a long term career where I work very hard for the company.

I am just skeptical, and feel that I have a right to be because things use to be so bad.

It is difficult to think long term if you never feel safe. I am scared to by a newer car because I am worried that things will go south. I would really like to just be happy here and give it my all.

We don't get a new company car etc but do have an opportunity of a lifetime. As with any company, not all will succeed. But if you work hard and get the business, the money is yours. Forget the distractions, it's taking your eyes off the prize. My projected income for this year is over $200k. I wish you and all the reps the same. That is why I have always stood up not just for Castle, but against the lies that cause distractions to reps that can potentially do great. Everyone is always "projected" to make a certain amount of money. It's all the DVP's talked about during training, I was "projected to make this" or "I was on pace to make that"

Aaaaggh, gadzooks Xxxxx you must be one of the reps that is represented by one of the unknown to Cafe Pharma dvps. Your right on with your post if you are. I will say not all dvps are equal. I met a couple at training that were and acted like real professionals. I am also starting to think Rob isn't the bad guy after all. When I was hired Castle said "we are looking for the right people....... I understand now. I like this "madhouse."

Don't listen to this poor poster Xxxx, they obviously work for one of those other managers at Castle. They are completely correct in their hostile opinion.

Like good salespeople, good to great managers are just as valuable and it's been said "they are worth their weight in gold."

The ineffective managers at Castle know who they are and so does the brass and the reps . What the reps underneath them don't know is the fact that not all managers treat people like dogs here at Castle.

This is not the opportunity of a lifetime. There are many legitimate positions in medical sales where the salary is $200,000 and above. Not most but many. These companies do not have the type of turnover that Castle has. They do not use people. Yes you can strike gold but at what cost? A few will do well when they hit a large volume account soon enough to not be let go by Castle. During the re-finance heyday you could make that as a loan officer, you can go to Colorado, California or Washington and make that in the marijuana business. If that is your ultimate goal then by all means carry on. Insurance will crack down on pass through billing and Castle will have to depend upon ethical business. By the way I closed a 100 plus per week account after I was let go by Castle so please do not patronize me. I make three times as much on my account post Castle and am not treated poorly by management with the threat of being fired hanging over my head. This was not the opportunity of a lifetime for me. For you it probably is. This may be your one shot because those other opportunities are not there for you. Go for it. I am just making sure people are forewarned.

Muchus gracious! Many times over for posting. I think most of the newest sales recruits at Castle know this fact you just mentioned. Hence forth, i think the Castle management knows that we know as well. Hopefully we are at somekind of Mexican standoff. If Castle pulls the trigger on the newbies, the newbies will inturn move the accounts with them. California doesn't recognize non-competes right?

So obviously, you were fired and thus disgruntled... You don't seem to give any thought to the many employees that still work for and depend on Castle for a paycheck. Your mindset is they deserve to be shut down... Why? Because you couldn't succeed, so no one else should???

There seem to be quite a few people currently working who feel this way and can't leave. Or do you just read what you agree with and curse whom you don't?

Plenty of people are discounted with some aspect of their job, but what's been posted here seems to go well beyon that. I've been here a couple of moths and have seen both sides. Im interviewing with others and will be gone too.

These people were used to gain accounts and then thrown aside. Of course Castle is afloat. Why wouldn't they be. They have several large accounts that more then create a substantial profit for them. Castle is a tiny competitor in a sea of toxicology companies.

I responded to the previous poster about Scott not doing what was necessary to keep Castle afloat, so yes it was the issue.

People are fired because of lack of performance, therefore little to no samples coming in even if they "closed" an account or two, thus not even covering the cost of themselves. Castle is still a for-profit business last I checked. Why would they risk firing someone that is bringing in the money? I call BS on all the CafePharma rhetoric of "I had X accounts and got fired anyway". Even if Castle has some issues to work on, I do not believe they fire randomly, but just as any other company on this board or not, they fire based on performance or lack thereof.
