trackers in our cars will never happen because of possible litigation.
I remember when a manager that my colleague looked at gas receipts to see when and where his reps were getting gas. The rep he was focusing on filled up at noon 75 miles out of her territory. When confronted she stated that her husband drove her car for the day and she drove the family car that day. manager then said that was a company violation to switch cars and the targeting of that rep stopped per the request from HR.
You don't know what you are talking about. Shut the hell up.trackers in our cars will never happen because of possible litigation.

I know people who work at Amgen and they do have a tracker they have to put in their car. Not only does it track their driving and they get demerits if they speed, don't use blinker signals, brake hard, etc but they DMs get a weekly routing report. Say you enter calls in a certain town - well your car better have been there.Ask that to people that work at Amgen. Have a friend there and they do track.

Not sure it really matters for them. They work in neurology and they say they spend all of their time on teleconferences doing "business planning" work.

cough cough cough ...bull$hit...cough cough.
Everyone needs to get dash cams to back up any demerits or fines they may get for hard breaking. Not sure they would be a fan of reps having them. It could prove quilt just as much as evidence in the event of an accident.
just allow people to use their own cars. Monthly stipend and mileage. Less liability for the company. Or allow it for those with the fine or demerits.
